The Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds are just a few miles down the road where you can hike, bike and explore all the beauty the area has to offer.Park your RV in the wooded clearing and take a short walk over the boardwalk to find yourself on the shore of Lake Superior! A beautiful sand and sandstone beach with crystal clear water, plenty of rocks for agate hunting and the perfect place to catch some of the best sunsets you have ever seen. There are neighbors on both sides but often you will have the entire beach to yourself. Look for Yooperlites and the Northern Lights at night or just enjoy the awesome show of the stars. We love dogs but please do not bring aggressive dogs as they may encounter other pups and people walking on the beach. There is no toilet or garbage so everything must be packed out when you leave.
