Big Head Farm moved to this existing blueberry farm in February of 2012. The farm was once owned by Joe Azarolla who planted all of our blueberry fields. Over the past years, we have been working hard to regenerate the land, soil, plants and encourage native wildlife.

The Camp @ Big Head Farm
The farm was so idyllic. Getting here was pretty easy. The campgrounds were well-kept with plenty of space in between the campsites. The farmhouse was close by as well as her beautiful animals! Night time was peaceful aside from the soft sound of a train in the distance. We made eggs in the morning with farm fresh selections and enjoyed the nearby parks since they were less than 30 minutes away. Our only regret was that we didn’t come sooner for blueberry picking! We stayed in the first weekend of September. We would love to come a little earlier next time. Thanks Karen for being a great host!

The Camp @ Big Head Farm
We had a great time on the farm! Other camp sites were much closer than expected and we didn’t get to try the farm fresh eggs. Other than that, we had an amazing experience and would totally recommend to a friend.

The Camp @ Big Head Farm
Large open and quiet campground with some really friendly farm animals that you can pet. A picnic table and fire pit was available which we cooked over. We had a great time and would recommend staying.

The Camp @ Big Head Farm
Karen's gorgeous farm was our first Hip Camp experience and was absolutely amazing. The property is large enough to feel spacious and explore, but small to feel cozy, safe and convenient. Our campsite was perfectly maintained, complete with fire pit and picnic table. It's a short drive to Warren Dunes for a fun day at the beach, but nestled in beautiful blueberry fields and a forest so it's quiet and peaceful. Karen is a lovely, gracious and attentive host -- making sure we had all the necessary info and made coffee in the morning! My personal favorite is the animals on the farm. Cherry Pie the donkey is the sweetest thing (I now desperately want a donkey someday haha), a gorgeous variety of chickens, ducks and geese, two handsome goats and one cute little pony! Highly recommend for a lovely weekend getaway! Thanks so much, Karen!

It was really wonderful to wake up with the animals! The misty blueberry fields were beautiful. Everything was perfect. Please note: You will be enjoying the low whistle of passing trains often. We will stay over again.

The Camp @ Big Head Farm
Big Head Farms was awesome. We were looking for a spot more removed from the standard cramped campgrounds and this place totally came through. You can opt to stay close to the main house and be closer to others or you can head towards the back of the property and have a lot of privacy. The blueberry bushes are beautiful and there are lots of animals - goats, chickens, a mini horse, etc.. by the main house. Karen, the owner, could not be more welcoming and relaxed. This place is low-key and such a welcomed reset. Definitely will be going back!
