Camp and hike in wooded seclusion in Western Massachusetts, where numerous old stone walls and overgrown cart road (as well as some ancient building foundations) trace the paths that New England farmers once walked. This land has been in the family for almost a hundred years, and has never been explored by treasure hunters; it remains as pristine as it was since the trees began to fill in the abandoned fields. My thirty acres is attached to the family's estate, which is eighty acres in total.Follow the old cart road beside the stone wall into the woods, where you will discover the pine grove, with ancient twisting trees; this is the perfect site to set up your tent, surrounded by rambling stone walls. You will experience Nature without the intrusion of civilization, and still be within a half hour car ride to Springfield and Holyoke. Camping on this land is very rustic; there are no amenities other than what you bring.
