Right along the Westfield River, glorious views of rolling hills and cows and sheep frolicking in their pasture abound! This mid-century horse farm property is being transitioned into a perennial plant nursery with a focus on delicious fruits, pollinator flowers and medicinal herbs - with silvopasture cows, sheep and more underPitch your tent on level ground at the foot of beautiful hill, looking out onto a green pasture, home to a couple of sweet and personable Jersey cows. This location is very quiet and secluded, but is near a railroad which often has occasional nighttime use. We recommend ear protection for sleeping if you're a light sleeper.

Misty's Meadow at Turtle Bend Farm
Perfect place to unplug
Loved this place so much! Host kinda just lets you do your own things but if you need anything they are ready and willing to help in any way. We stayed for two nights and one of my favorite things was waking up to the cows right in front. Perfect place to reset and if you need anything, Dollar General is not too far which we had to go twice.

Nice night at the farm.
Even if we only stayed for one night just before returning to Brooklyn, it was the right spot. Quiet and the view from our campsite was nice, we were in front of the animals pasture. Arlo, who welcomed us, was super nice. He was able to put a table and a little bench on our site.

Misty's Meadow at Turtle Bend Farm
Not overly private but great views
The views of the mountains were really beautiful and the site was quiet and private. We were the only ones there for the night. The host was polite and welcoming. We did feel that they didn't seem overly prepared to have us there and that there were a few things that could have been advertised clearer. The arbour which was the site marker had fallen down and so we initially drive past the site. There is not running water available. In the bathroom is a 10 gallon jug with a spigot with drinkable water to wash your hands with and that you can use. The bathroom was also not very private. There is no lock on the door, and it is just in a stall in the barn. I was able to see people working in the barn a few feet away as I was in there. If I can see them, they can see me. For our purposes of being a spot to stay overnight it worked well. Thank you for allowing us to stay on your property!
