I have about 3 acres with lots of gardens and surrounded by forest. There is a huge organic garden and greenhouse. We get lots of wildlife here. I'm about 20 minutes from Mount Wachusett and 5 minutes from the Quabbin. Lots of hiking all around, including from my farm (a nice 3 mile walk through a wildlife preserve). Worcester is about a 30 minute drive. Lot's of lakes all around with good fishing. The town of Barre has some excellent restaurants, a grocery store, hardware store, etc. We close for the winter season from November 1 through the end of March.Site is located under beautiful maple trees for shade with a dump station right there. Looks out over beautiful meadows and gardens.

Peaceful and a lovely owner

Our stay at Candice’s place was simply awesome. It’s super peaceful, but close to the lovely town of Barre. There is great flexibility in where you can pitch your rig, and as we were only staying two nights, we chose a convenient pull through section next to the water and power hookup. Candice is an absolutely wonderful person who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic stay. She even kindly sent us on our way with a bunch of herbs cut fresh from her garden. We’ll definitely be back.

Candice property was a nice spot to spend two nights! Candice was very attentive to us and offered us numerous produce from her farm! We loved stone cow brewery too!

Beautiful, quiet property relatively conveniently located for trips to central Massachusetts. The host, Candice, is truly one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet but if you like your privacy, you can have that here too. It’s a dream to have some nice amenities here as well that you don’t see at many other Hipcamp (outdoor shower, dump station, etc).

Absolutely gracious host!

Traveling on our first long-haul RV trip, we couldn't have asked for a better host than Candice to set our journey off on the right foot. We arrived after a pretty thorough rain storm, but she was kind enough to have set up a pop up tent for us beforehand in case we needed a dry place to hang out. Her farm has several convenient, perfectly level places to park. Though we were in close proximity to her house, it was a joy talking with her about her property and all the improvements she has made -- and the neighborhood was VERY quiet and peaceful. The next morning she was kind enough to enough to send us in our way with some fresh-cut herbs and asparagus from her garden. She really exemplified everything I love about hip camp.
