Our property is in Howard County, Maryland, and is super convenient to I-95, I-295, Hwy 32, and I-70. It is centrally located between Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Frederick, MD. We are located right off of Highway 32 down a long, private paved driveway. What makes our property unique is all that it has to offer--it's an 18 acre oasis with mature woods protected by a conservation deed, lightly rolling hills, beautiful fields, wetlands, and a pond. It is not surprising to see deer and our local great blue heron on the property throughout the day. There is also a fire pit, which you are free to use. Firewood is free.On the way to your campsite, you will pass by our house at the end of a long paved driveway, so be aware of children and dogs as you drive. After passing our house, turn left and drive until you reach a large grass opening. This is where you will stay: a private, scenic campsite, fire pit, and picnic table, overlooking a field with a large garden down the hill. Behind you are woods filled with large trees. To the left of the garden is a pond, which is a wonderful place to watch the sunset from. You may even see our local great blue heron. Additionally, there are numerous hikes within 15 minutes of the campsite, and when night falls, the stars are visible and beautiful. We have a well with fresh water less than 100 feet away from the campsite. You can pitch a tent at this campsite or drive in with your camper or RV. *Note: Groups larger than 6 people must contact Scott prior to booking.

Great stop!
Great overnight stop. Very friendly host and the location is quiet, beautiful and very convenient from 32. We have a 32’ class B+ towing a Jeep Gladiator and we had no problem getting in or out and finding a level area to park. Watch for deer as you enter the property. Would definitely stay here again!

Dog friendly
My dogs and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here in August! We will definitely be coming back soon. The hosts and their family were incredibly warm and welcoming, and their two dogs were very playful and friendly. My dogs loved running around the property with them, and the hosts did a good job supervising the dogs when they were outside on the property. This was a wonderful Hipcamp, especially if you have dogs; mine were so happy sniffing around the woods and playing fetch in the large grassy field. There were tons of deer around the property, and I saw a beautiful blue heron by the pond. The campground was well-kept and clean of any trash or debris, and the spigot was close-by to refill my water jugs as needed. They have a beautiful fire pit, and some very large trees that offered all-day shade for my camper. I had a very positive experience and will definitely be staying with them again soon!

Very peaceful stay
The campsite is very pretty and I would highly recommend a stay. The campsite was very clean and the trees kept the main site nice and shady. The campsite provided plenty of privacy and the hosts were very respectful of that. I would highly suggest spending a night on the farm. The only thing to note is that the firewood is stored outside (plenty and very accessible) and if there had been rain around the time of your stay you may need to find other dry wood.

Great spot, great host
Great Place! no distubances from the host and the ample firewood was a great plus. super cool to just pull my car up and hang out with friends.

This is a beautiful and quiet spot. The field is so nice to relax in and look at. Would recommend as an escape from the city!

Amazing property!
My son and I had a great stay on Scott’s property. I love everything about Highland Maryland and the view from camp was exactly what we needed. We saw plenty of deer and turkey on our short two night stay. Make sure you stop at Boarman’s meat market to get meat 🥩 for the grill. Plenty of wood
