Love this site!
Site 5 never disappoints. Private site with plenty of room to spread out. Clear path to the river provides great access to fishing and wading in the water with the pup. Owls are very active at night and awesome to listen to. Will def be back.

Would do it again
Private, large site with plenty of shade and drift wood for fires. Very close to shallow river. Great for dog owners.

The campsite was great! Very private and only a short drive from Washington DC. There was a bit of road noise, but it wasn’t terrible. Close to the river and a few good trails on the property to walk the dog on.
You’ll have to pass a small creek to get to the site. My little sedan made it through, but it had us a bit anxious.
All in all, a wonderful time!

Enjoyed Our Stay
Wife and I had our first hip camp experience at Riverside Farm. We came into town to visit family and enjoyed the downtime at our camp site after visiting family. We stayed at site 6 and liked the remoteness of it. It was tucked away from other sites, so it was super private. The trail down to the Monocacy River was well marked and we enjoyed some wading in the river during our visit.
The traffic on Rte 15 was audible at the campsite, but the sounds of the crickets and night time noises muffled it out for the most part.
The creek crossing was ok, but we have a Kia Telluride. I would not have felt as comfortable in a 4 door sedan. Just keep that in mind if camping here.

Great, big campsite - very isolated with beautiful views/surroundings. Very short walk to the river, where my son caught three fish within 10 minutes (live bait is available at the 7-11 just up the road). The mosquitos were out in force for our Labor Day weekend visit, so definitely take measures. Also, there is no picnic table, so BYO table. The only real drawback is that the only bathroom is a port-a-potty that you have to drive, so make sure all in your party are comfortable with that or going in the (very private) woods.
