Camp Ramblewood
Primitive, boondocking, dispersed
The spots are down the road from the camp - and they are so so nice. Gravel steep grade drive- but once you’re up, it’s great. Had a camper that did just fine and me and the pup did a lot of walking, found back entrance of the camp, and walked down the street to conowingo and the Susquehanna. Rick was super helpful, and I will be back!

Camp Ramblewood
Stay here!
Ramblewood was a fantastic stop on our long road trip. The hosts were super communicative and welcoming (despite our after dark arrival), and took the time to tell us a bit about the place. There is a LOT of space at what was once an old summer camp and is now an event space. The old house on the property is interesting, too. It’s definitely worth a stop.

Camp Ramblewood
We arrived after dark and found a spot in the field at the entrance of the property. It seems to be an old farm that has been turned into a place to hold large outdoor events. There is an old barn, cabins, an old tennis court and basketball court, and a few other buildings scattered throughout the wooded property. There is even a lake at the bottom that was actually stocked. We caught a small large mouth bass (and released it).

Camp Ramblewood
A piece of paradise
A pure piece of paradise. A powerful positive experience for me and my fellow campers. Extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts and all the facilities we could have hoped for. A truly wonderful experience camping here at Ramblewood.
