Great spot on the Wicomico River
Scott's farm is situated right on the Wicomico river and is a great balance between open pasture and seclusion. Pine trees separate the campsites from the river and it's only about a 40 yard walk. There's water and power hook-ups at each site, but if you don't need either then you have the option of setting up camp closer to the river or further inland if you desire more privacy. The fishing is great from the bank. I was able to catch several decent sized catfish, stripers/rockfish, and there were some croakers and white perch. I recommend bringing your kayak and launching out for more fun. There's firewood onsite for purchase, porta potty was clean, and overall the amenities were great. Scott is a very friendly and down-to-earth guy. He took my son and I out on his boat to try our luck trolling for rockfish.
I would most definitely recommend this campsite and will hopefully be back next year.

Host, Scott was very friendly and informative. The campground is so serene and beautiful you will NOT want to leave. He just starting out but I will say when it catches on, he's going to be busy!! We loved it. Definitely going back there.

Highly Recommend
My 14 year old son and I tent camped on Scott’s land and had a great time. Scott did a great job of being friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We had plenty of spots to choose from but picked one in the banks of the river with shade and a nearby hammock.
There was plenty to explore beteeen the ponds, river and marsh yet there was also enough shade that I spent quite a bit of time just relaxing in the hammock and watching the river. We definitely plan on coming back soon.

The Best Campsite Around!
What a great place to camp out! Scott was very welcoming and helpful. It wasn't crowded this weekend so I was given the option to setup wherever I chose. I parked my rig, an RTT, right on the water's edge. The other bank of the river is rather pristine with mostly marsh grass along the shoreline. Beautiful view to wake up to! I set up my hammock right next to my camp site in a stand of pine trees. I brought my kayak along to do some paddling. There is small section of sandy beach perfect for launching. Next to that it looks liker there's a concrete boat ramp for launching a boat on a trailer. Lot's of options for kayaking. I paddled up and down stream from the campsite. There was a tributary a short distance from the launch that made for some nice paddling. I did a little fishing while I was there and caught several white perch as well as two different species of nice size catfish. There's a winery nearby and lots of other things to do if you have time to venture out. Overall a very nice place to spend the weekend. Highly recommended!

Scott was a great host and even though we were only there for one night he provided wonderful hospitality. His dog would roam around the property and say hi to you. Will definitely be returning in the future!
