Raven's Forest Burrow (6-8 people)
Wooded and quiet site
Alden and Shawntel were very friendly. We stayed just one night on our way from Massachusetts to New Brunswick. We appreciated the large container of water Shawntel brought from the artisian well and two bundles of dry logs!!! The water was very delicious! Alden brought us his special home-made mosquito repellent - I was getting devoured until I used his magical potion!
The site is very much in the woods and very basic, with a compost toilet. There’s a folding table. We had our own chairs. There’s a tackle box filled with candles, cards, some cups for the water, razors, tampons, and sunscreen.
Definitely recommend if you want privacy and want to be alone in the woods (but with a few goodies from the host!)

Despite the rain, this campsite exceeded my expectations. The natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect gateway for me. I would recommend the trail hike across the street.

Worth the trip!
A wonderful drive into the quiet side of Maine with spectacular views the whole way in. GPS will bring you the wrong way, be sure to read Alden’s very clear and easy to understand directions in the “how to get there” section! We were greeted by Shawntel who had the CUTEST little pig companion, she made sure we comfortably got unpacked into our site.
The amenities provided were exceptional, the compost toilet, consistently replenished wood, pure well water in huge jugs, and to top it off… a pamphlet with foraging notes, maps, information about the farm and surrounding area. Alden and Shawntel were very responsive to any and all needs, they even brought a bin of extras full all the little things people don’t think of (we forgot cups, and there they were in the bin!).
We also booked the foraging tour, which was outstanding. Alden is very knowledgable about the local flora, fauna, and of course the mushrooms. We took a lengthy walk and learned quite a bit along the way, our daughter even found salamanders and leopard frogs along the way. If you’re looking to explore the area make sure to ask Alden, he’s very happy to share all the local under the radar hot spots.
10/10 experience and trip, excellent hosts, enough space for a private site yet close enough for any needs to be met. We will be back!
Thank you for having us Three Ravens Farm!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Three Ravens. Beautiful property on a beautiful lake and our hosts were very accommodating providing everything we needed for a nice getaway. I would also recommend the foraging tour with Alden, great way to explore the area and learn a ton about foraging!

Alden's land was beautiful and quiet, we really enjoyed staying here! Alden was communicative and upfront when the site we originally wanted was "offline" and offered an alternative site. Directions to the place were clear, and description of the site was very accurate. We were greeted when we arrived and shown where to go and made to feel welcome. The site we stayed at (site #2) was a bit further from the lake than the original site we had hoped for (site #3), but it was a reasonable walk and we enjoyed swimming in the lake. Alden was helpful and friendly, and the site was clean and quiet. We would certainly stay here again!
