Learn more about this land: Private 1.5 acre field off of Staples Point Road, 3 miles from downtown Freeport, 1 mile to Winslow Park. Field is surrounded mostly by forrest, only non-drinking water provided from the garden hose at the entrance to the field. Whatever you bring in, you take out; garbage, human waste, etc. There is a camp fire with benches, plenty of fire wood and a luggable loo if needed.Private 1.5 acre field off of Staples Point Road, 3 miles from downtown Freeport, 1 mile to Winslow Park. Such an awesome place! Huge plot of land, plenty of great firewood and fire pit! Host was kind and said hello/ checked in with us without being invasive to our time or privacy! LOVED THIS PLACE! Quiet and felt like we had the whole woods to ourselves.

The Harraseeket Campsite
This was a very nice, open and flat site - just like the photos. It was convenient to have the fire pit and lots of split wood to use. For me, the only downside was the campfire area being in view of the house next door, so that took away from the feeling of total privacy. Very convenient location - 8 minutes to downtown Freeport and less than 20 to Portland.

Nice lawn to stay the night . Easy to find and was quiet. Great run in the morning to the park at the end of the road.

The Harraseeket Campsite
A great and quiet place to overnight. The lot is quite large and very level, no problem setting up quickly. It would be ideal for a small group of RVr's traveling together. Very peaceful, the silence broken only by what we assumed were falling acorns in the woods. Jay was friendly, and very responsive to any queries. All good. When leaving the property be aware that there is good curve in the road to your right so you must be careful pulling out. We will visit Jay's property again if in the area.
