Stay in a real life forest service cabin moved from Grafton Notch many years ago to it's current location at the edge of Maine's White Mountain National Forest.
Perfect place to get away with little traffic coming by and trails right out your door. This is a rustic cabin with outhouse, water jugs to fill with river water, and limited electricity from solar to include lights and electronics. Perfect place to hunt, hike, ride your atv, enjoy the quiet, and live simple. Spectacular view of the mountain range through the valley.Escape to the tranquil wilderness of Bethel, Maine, where the past meets the present in our rustic Forest Service cabin. This authentic gem, relocated from the untamed Wild River area to its current serene spot across from the Maine White Mountain National Forest Lands, promises an unforgettable getaway. This cabin allows for limited solar power and there is a privy on site. Our family cabin is just 5 minutes away from the quaint town of Bethel and we practice carry in carry out rules
There are is a jug for water and info on where to get it. You have a sink to clean without running water. There is an outhouse on the property. There is utensils, bowls, cups, and plates. There is a solar system for lights, a fan, and electronics. There is a tv with DVD you can use. Fire pit with any wood from the woods you can find. Please don't use the split wood on the property. There is 5 beds with pillows and mattresses. You will need to bring sleeping bags or linens as there is no heat available. You will need to call me once you book for access to the property, specific directions, and safety instructions.
