Nestled among trees, this campsite offers a serene and private retreat that's been warmly received by visitors. Hosts Jane and Pat are praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, ensuring guests feel right at home. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby beach and the charming town of Castine, with many campers appreciating the ease of access to local attractions and activities. While the majority of reviews reflect a positive experience, the site's tranquility and the hosts' hospitality stand out as key highlights.
Such a cozy, private camping area! We were the only campers, so it was easy to pull in and find a level spot. Host was very kind and let us fill up our water too! We checked in earlier, but we should have gotten back before dark because the newly paved road didn't have lines yet, so it was a little stressful to navigate. We made it though and had a great night's sleep. Definitely recommend!
This was a perfect location for visiting Castine and the nearby beach. The property provided plenty of privacy with level parking . Jane greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved camping at Jane's property! The site was well-maintained and private, and had a prefect location being tucked amongst a forested area while also a short drive to the Castine harbor. Would recommend!
Plenty of room for our van. Nicely mowed and equipped with a picnic table and fireplace. Secluded and feels private. Short drive to downtown Castine
