Stuart Little dreamhouse is a cabin on the edge of the woods, in the backyard of our home. The cabin is perfect for people who are camping, but want a little more accommodation. It has two futons that can turn into double beds, table and chairs, small porch, outhouse, and a picnic bench. Bring your sleeping bag and camp stove, and you are all set! There are also places to pitch a tent, if desired. We are just a mile down the road from where EB White lived, the setting of Stuart Little dream house (our yard) gives a glimpse into some real Maine living: Lots of boats and boat trailers, a rambling garden, and often a free pile at the end of the driveway. *Note: There is no heat. *Note: There is no kitchen. camp stove + fuel can be rented for $5/night *Note: Please bring a sleeping bag. Otherwise, bedding/linens can be rented at $10/bed. See site profile for more information. The cabin is situated on the edge of the woods, with a sea breeze, and the squawks of seagulls and owls. It’s also at the edge of the yard. In the cabin there are two double futons, a table and chairs, a small porch, and a picnic table to use. Bring your sleeping bag and camp stove and you will be all set! Potable water provided. Bathroom is a custom out house with boating toilet. The cabin has no power, but there is an extension chord run from a work shed to power the fan and/or devices. There is a solar panel that runs two lights if it has been sunny out. -There is no kitchen. A camp stove can be rented for an extra fee at checkout. -There is no heat. -Please let me know if you need both futons pulled into beds before arrival. -Bedding is not included, but can be rented for an extra fee at checkout. *In your reservation request, please let me know you have read this by writing if you are bringing your own bedding/camp stove or you need to rent. Thanks! Additionally, the door to the cabin is repurposed from construction site where it was going to be thrown out. So there is no key to the door. There is one one cabin, so there will be no other campers. It is fairly private, however, it is near a home where 3 adults live, so you may see/hear other people. You will likely see Tressa tending/watering the garden. :-)

This little cabin was the perfect way for me to dip my toes into my first solo camping trip. It was very clean with comfortable bedding and a nice desk with books and puzzles. It felt peaceful and private on the outskirts of the woods. The outhouse was conveniently located. Tressa left a nice welcoming sign to help locate the camp. The property is located off a main road where you can hear some cars driving by, but it really quieted down at night. Tressa was very helpful and responsive.

Cute little cabin tucked away amongst the trees. Comfortable bed, solar lights. Both the cabin and outhouse were clean. Loved both the little towns it was close to, Brooklin and Blue Hill. I would definitely stay there again!

Great cozy little cabin refuge!
My stay at Tressa's cabin was such a reflief after a long wet day on the motorcycle. It was dry, comfortable, and very clean. She was even nice enough to put out a tent for me to park my bike under to keep it out of the rain, which was so nice and very much appreciated. I was only there for a night, but I'd definitely reccomend if you're looking for a spot to stay while you explore the beautiful Maine coast. Thank-you again so much!

Our stay at Stewart Little's Dreamhouse was Dreamy!! Three of us stayed in the cabin and had a wonderful time. The outhouse, little sink, picnic table, and solar powered outlets in the cabin all made the stay super easeful. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
