Stuart Little dreamhouse is a cabin on the edge of the woods, in the backyard of our home. The cabin is perfect for people who are camping, but want a little more accommodation. It has two futons that can turn into double beds, table and chairs, small porch, outhouse, and a picnic bench. Bring your sleeping bag and camp stove, and you are all set! There are also places to pitch a tent, if desired.
We are just a mile down the road from where EB White lived, the setting of Stuart Little dream house (our yard) gives a glimpse into some real Maine living: Lots of boats and boat trailers, a rambling garden, and often a free pile at the end of the driveway.
*Note: There is no heat.
*Note: There is no kitchen. camp stove + fuel can be rented for $5/night
*Note: Please bring a sleeping bag. Otherwise, bedding/linens can be rented at $10/bed.

The cabin has no power, but there is an extension chord run from a work shed to power the fan and/or devices. There is a solar panel that runs two lights if it has been sunny out.

-There is no heat.
-Please let me know if you need both futons pulled into beds before arrival.
-Bedding is not included, but can be rented for an extra fee at checkout.
*In your reservation request, please let me know you have read this by writing if you are bringing your own bedding/camp stove or you need to rent. Thanks!
Additionally, the door to the cabin is repurposed from construction site where it was going to be thrown out. So there is no key to the door.
There is one one cabin, so there will be no other campers. It is fairly private, however, it is near a home where 3 adults live, so you may see/hear other people. You will likely see Tressa tending/watering the garden. :-)
