Stony Ridge Camping
Overall we had a nice time at the camp. It was very scluded from the farm and inside the woods which was what we were looking for. We had little ones and we thought we could explore the farm as many reviewers said they did Unfortunately we didn't get to, we did ask for permission but there was little communication with the owners. We did had an emergency on the road going to the camp which delay our arrival not sure if this was not of the liking of the owners. The near by lake that is 15 min it's nice for boating or kayaking but not for swimming.

Stony Ridge Camping
Great, Quiet location. Camping area is tucked back behind host property surrounded on both sides by forrest. The camping area is accessed by a long grassy "driveway" we were able to navigate easily even with our 24 ft vehicle/trailer combo.(be advised, if there are mutiple campers staying it may be difficult to turn your trailer around.the grassy driveway is about as wide as a street. )We didnt have any issues as we were the only ones staying. Host offered us to use the fire pit and offered us fire wood or we could collect fire wood from the forrest. We didn't use the fire pit, we brought our own propane fire ring. We thought is was super nice that they offered wood to use. Most other sites require you to purchase wood. The property is a "mini farm" ( a bonus for me!)with cows, goats, chickens, ducks and bunnies. The animals are far enough away from the campsite so they won't be a noise problem. The animals are very friendly. They also sell duck and chicken eggs and fresh maple syrup! Be aware that there are ALOT of bugs. We used bug spray that kept the mosquitoes Way for the most part. The Nats are annoying but you are in the forrest!
There was alot of activities to do within 30 to 45 minutes away. There is a shaws grocery store within 5 to 10 minutes away. The hosts are super nice and communication with them were a breeze! We will definitely be booking with this hipcamp again!

Stony Ridge Camping
Faleesha’s property was great for a last minute space to sleep. She was very accommodating and met us when we arrived to point us in the right direction. There’s a small grassy path that leads behind her house into the woods that makes it feel very secluded and private. It was a little squishy from recent rain but we didn’t need 4wd. I bought some eggs and delicious maple syrup on the way out

Stony Ridge Camping
Host Faleesha was wicked nice, and I felt welcomed at the property. She had good communication, and met me promptly upon arrival to give me information about her farm, and the lay of the land. The location is fantastically rural, with lots of farmland, but with town/stores about 5 mins away. In town there are gas stations, restaurants, a couple markets, along with a large chain grocery store (Shaws) and a visitor information building. Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier, but I managed just fine and was able to Google and GPS without too big of an issue. I would reccommend this Hipcamp, and hope to come back again sometime!

Eclipse Camping Trip
Oh my goodness, we LOVED staying at the Stony Ridge property. It was so private and beautiful. Faleesha and her husband we amazing hosts and we're so kind. The campsite was in a secluded clearing in the woods and the beautiful trees, animal tracks, and lack of any sound but nature was just what we needed. It didn't hurt that the hosts had cute farm animals to see on the way in and out. Thank you for your beautiful campsite and kind hospitality!!
