Our location is at the quiet, shallow end of Moose Pond, this affords it privacy and peacefulness. It sits nestled on 180' of protected water front. Standing on the dock Pleasant Mountain can be seen across the water and is a 5min drive. There are several hiking, biking and ATV trails nearby. Cook on the charcoal grill, fish off the dock, swing in the hammock, make s'mores over the fire, paddle, float or swim in the lake or just lay on the mattress and read a book. Let our simple campsite take you away, you will not be disappointed. The campsite is about 150’ from parking area and some agility is needed to walk the slight slope to the site.We provide a large canvas tent with queen mattress and two pillows, a large plastic bin for storage and a small sitting area with table and chairs. The tent is large enough to hang out in (10x12) and has several windows so a little bit of inclimate weather need not ruin your trip. You will need sleeping bags or blanket and pillow cases. There are several chairs around the fire pit, a charcoal grill, a hammock, a row boat and several kayaks for your use. Views of the mountain, sky, water and shoreline are food for the soul.

Simplicity at the Lake is well name
We very much enjoyed our stay at Simplicity at the Lake despite some inclement weather. The site came with a well-kept tent and private access to water, complete with kayaks and a rowboat to use. The private dock was a highlight, and we enjoyed plenty of rowing, paddling, and fishing during our stay. Evening by the campfire is magical. One thing to note is that the site is a short downhill hike from the parking area, so be prepared to carry your gear down. Additionally, there are no tables or food preparation areas, so plan accordingly. The host was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking to escape and enjoy the great outdoors!
