Our cute little A-frame sleeps 2 people comfortably. It comes with its own outdoor kitchen, grill and outdoor bathroom, with a hot shower and composting toilet. You will also enjoy your own private waterfront space with free kayak use, hammocks and firepit with complimentary fire wood. We are located about halfway between Bangor and Ellsworth. The Mini is a perfect spot for day trips to the coast. Just a 15 minute ride to Bangor where you will find many local breweries, restaurants, concert venue, theaters, shopping and night life. Our area has abundant small wildlife. We regularly see rabbits, geese, ducks, beaver, eagles, osprey and of course loons. Kayak over to our private island where there are blueberries, and a mating pair of eagles. Paddle over, have lunch, pick some blueberries for your morning cereal, go for a swim. You could also kayak through the thoroughfare to Holbrook Pond. The site is small, just 1 acre and we do live very close by. You will have privacy, but you may hear or see us or our dogs at points during your stay. We will provide a few jugs of water, but you may want to bring some of your own. Cookware, plates, cups, utensils, and cooler are available for use.The Mini is a tiny A-frame, it has a full size bed with clean sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an outside kitchen area with gas grill, a Coleman stove and a cooler. Cookware, plates, cups, utensils and a coffee press are also provided. There is a picnic table and a fire ring with complimentary firewood. Two kayaks are available for your use along with life jackets. Our home is next door within site. We do have two small dogs that may bark at you with excitement, but they are very friendly. We find it very quiet, peaceful and serene here on the pond

Great Glamping
Such a nice place to stay! The hosts were an awesome couple who were very friendly yet gave us space. We swam, made a fire and kayaked, everything i love to do on a mini vacation! Thank you!

Our hosts were great, they were very hospitable and had wonderful vibes. The a frame itself was lovely and the bed was really comfortable. Plenty of all the necessary amenities. There was even a little space heater for chilly nights. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful stay
It was such a wonderful experience. I had a short stay but both Cyndy and Amy were amazing hosts. Cyndy came in to check on me at the right time, lol thank you for the help with setting up the camp fire! Otherwise I loved the privacy this place offers. At night it was magical! Everything you need for a great camping experience is provided for you. This place is great for novice and experienced campers alike!

AMAZING! This Hipcamp has so many thoughtful touches. A little over an hour from Bar Harbor/Acadia NP. Even with temps in the 30s at night I was plenty warm. Will definitely stay again!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame very much. It was the perfect, quiet, peaceful get away from our busy lives, and the site was so beautiful and well thought out for convenience and comfort. Gorgeous trees, twinkle lights, a great firepit, lakeside views, essentials provided for cooking and relaxing outside, (and so much more!) made this an incredibly idyllic rural stay for a really great value. 🏕️🥾🌲 The host, Cyndy, was extremely accommodating and kind. We highly recommend this stay and would love to come back next time we have time for a Maine excursion!!
