Come visit a converted Grange hall that was MOVED to its current location 10 years ago! Nestled on 35 beautiful acres, it gives you the chance to choose meadow or forest camping along with meeting some new animal friends! Learn more about this land: Come join us on Howling Goat Farm where you can pitch a tent on our field site for a front row seat of the night sky and a spectacular view of the Milky Way. OR we have a secluded site in our wooded area that you are more than welcome to stay in for a more private experience! We are a non-conventional camping area where we don't want anyone to think that they are sardines stuffed into a tiny lot. We keep our bookings to a minimum so more often than not you'll have a whole field to yourselves with more privacy than any other campground. We hope you'll join us for a few days of farm life and the simplicity that we can provide. We are within 4 miles of 95 and centrally located between Rangeley, Baxter, Moosehead and Acadia National Park.

RV short term Site #2 (1-5 days)

Their goat farm offered a pretty spot to rest for the night. It was enjoyable to see their goats and watch the sunset and sunrise over the farm. The animals were quiet during sleeping hours and the camping spot was level. And I bought some goat milk soap as a souvenir. Oh and the sky was clear, full of stars and you could even see the milky way.

RV short term Site #2 (1-5 days)

Loved sleeping on the farm with the goats, chickens, and LGD keeping watch. Field was an absolutely beautiful backdrop for a campfire. Fantastic sunset! Perfect spot to crash for the night.

RV short term Site #2 (1-5 days)

Ashley and her husband met us at arrival and got us situated in our site. It was fun watching the animals in the pen. The night sky was amazing. We even bought some farm fresh eggs to hold us over for the rest of our trip.

Woods Tent & Small Group Site #1

Pretty okay

Spot was good and easy to find . Site was very loud since it’s on a farm. Didn’t revive the eggs we paid for .

RV Long Term Site # 3 (1 week +)

Not for us.

I used mixed feelings because if I was just a guy wanting a place to tent or park my RV I would probably be good with it. But in our case I had my family. The ad states they have a bathroom but it turned out to be a out house. It just didn’t pass the test. To be honest I would sooner use the woods. We ended up not staying and not fighting for a refund, but I went away obviously quite disappointed. In addition the farm could use a little trimming, organizing in order to make it more appealing.
