Given that this site is not super close to any beach, we were excited to hear that there was a swimming hole near the campsite. Unfortunately, it was a little bit unclear as to where it was located. Nearby, there is a small stream, but it does not look clean, especially after rain. This site would do better with more clear signage. This goes for the amenities inside the airstream camper too, which also did not feel super clean for new guests.
We had chosen this campsite because we thought it would be fairly private since it is on private residential property; however, the actual campsite was not as private as we hoped. It was very open, and well in view of the host's house and the second campsite. Even though we were alone, we felt very easily seen since the camping site is not surrounded by trees or anything. For the price of this site, we expected more privacy compared to busier, public campsites.
Lastly, we never actually met the host, who seemed very nice, but I think we were alone on the property for the entire duration of our stay. It would have been nice to meet them in person if we had any questions about the site, or to have security if a problem arose.

I didn't get to stay the night but I really loved the spot. The stream is beautiful and the land around the sites is super cool. You can hear the frogs at night and watch the deer during the day. You can also mine for gemstones in the forest which was probably my favorite part.
Your host, John, is the coolest! I got to watch some of the campsites being made and experienced great hospitality from him. He was quick with communication and made it easy to set up a time for the sauna.
