My 1948 Greyhound bus, Flicker, is parked for the summer and set up to sleep 2+ and host a crew. Your booking comes with access to an adjacent tent site, fire pit, and shared composting toilet. Dogs welcome! đ¶ The bus is cool as heck, and its rustic campground location (at Camps of the Pioneers in Ellsworth, Maine) offers an amazing home base for day trips to Acadia national Park and other Downeast outdoor adventures! This campsite features Flicker, a rustic and unique disco-themed conversion of a 1948 Greyhound Bus! The campsite also features shade trees, space for tenting, and a fire pit. The bus is set up with a futon (sleeps two) plus a couch (sleeps one) and a hammock. Additional guests can tent to sleep comfortably. Guests will have access to a shared composting toilet just a minute walk away. There are no hookups at this site, but a solar-powered battery pack allows for phone charging, and the Bus interior is illuminated by battery-powered lights. Potable water is available, but no shower facility. There is another RV parked next door to the Bus, and other tent sites at the campground often have residents, creating a fun community vibe. Dogs welcome!
