We are a Hobby farm located on a peaceful and remote 15 acres of fields and 20 acres of woods. We raise Jacob sheep and have 5 gentle Halfinger ponies as well as Chickens, dogs and cats. There are walking and horseback riding trails through the woods. Guests here can learn about raising and caring for sheep and horses. They can have horsemanship or horseback riding lessons from a CHA Certified riding instructor on site.
We also offer inexpensive outdoor weddings at our beautiful gazebo in the woods.14 X 16 tent set in a private wooded location about a five minute walk from off street parking on a lighted, well-maintained gravel road. The open deck overlooks a farm pasture where you may see sheep or horses grazing. Inside the tent is a queen size bed, and a futon, as well as a large dresser and workspace, a dining table for two and a woodstove. The tent has electricity. Silverware, dishes, glasses, and mugs are provided. On the covered deck, you will find a gas grill, standup cooler and seating for four with a coffee table. There is an additional table and four chairs off the deck as well Just steps from the tent is a well appointed outhouse with running water and electricity and a wash station for dishwashing. Close by is a fire pit with seating as well.
