Beautiful views, lovely space
Kelley’s place is as advertised. A lovely stand alone location, with great views and fields. It is relatively close to the road but it is a very low traffic area so no noise. The road is also not visible from the site due to a barrier of trees. There is a picnic table, fire ring, garbage can, and a nice information sheet with area info. Literally within five minutes of us arriving, we were greated and walked through the set up. The walking trails are lovely, and at different times of year would be amazing to use. During our stay, it was horse fly season - my husband did not get bit, but I got bit multiple times on a short single walk - so bring bug spray if you are susceptible and know the time of year. That said, the area where you park your rv was bug free. You are definitely by yourself, in a private, clean, well maintained environment. Our dog is not good with other dogs, so stand alone environments are greatly valued. It’s a nice central location for the things we were interested in - gravel biking, hiking, and some excursions to Skowhegan. We stayed two nights. If we return to the region, we round stay there again.

Overall very nice campsite. Owners were helpful when needed assistance. The horse flys were the worst I’ve ever seen, wasn’t able to spend much time outside without being infested with them. But was nice, private, off the road.

What a great spot! Amazing views and lots of privacy, great dog walking spots. Be prepared for horsefly’s and peace and quiet. No issue bringing our ATVs to the park and ride in the center or town - we will be back!

Hilltop RV Spot
Quiet with easy access and hookups.
Excellent location overlooking a field with all the hookups. Easy to access and while you are near the road it is quiet, mostly just the sounds of birds and coyotes. We gain to stay during the total eclipse of 2024!

We enjoyed our visit. Nice view over field, felt private, also enjoyed walking the path around edge of field through some woods back out to second field and back to campsite. She greeted us when we arrived and let us know to contact her if we needed anything.. it was relatively easy backing camper into our campsite from the road

We had such a lovely stay! We booked at the last minute, when we were fleeing Acadia ahead of Hurricane Lee and enjoyed this spot so much, we extend our stay. To have water/electric/sewer hook-ups WITHOUT NEIGHBORS is such a treat! And our dogs loved walking the trails around this property. On top of all that, Kelley made sure we were taken care of when the outer bands of Lee knocked out power, offering generators and bringing us water (needed electricity for the well pump). If we're back in the area again, we'd definitely stay here.
