Learn more about this land: Pitch or park at our serene swampland oasis and wake up to the abundant wildlife across our 24 acre wild property with five ponds and an island of friendly goats. Frequently see aquatic birds, eat from fruit trees, hike with goats, and enjoy a landscape balanced with both manicured design and uninhibited nature. Booking includes a complimentary handmade goat milk soap, free use of our paddleboat and kayak, and unlimited kisses from our affectionate pack of rescue dogs and herd of elderly rescued horses. Gravel driveway leads the way to a flat waterfront solid grass parking spot with 30amp RV hookups and fire circle. Guests have private entry access to a recently renovated bathroom with shower and tub. Snow White Sanctuary is a gated private property at the end of a dead end road. Parks and river access within walking distance, 30 minutes from Lake Charles, 2 hours from Houston, and less than one hour from beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. Some of our favorite local attractions include: Shangri-La Botanical Gardens, SPAR Waterpark, Delta Downs Racetrack, and Insane Sausages Cajun Food. We are a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campground.

Authentic farmland experience

Truly wonderful experience on a working farm! I was tenting alone and felt 100% safe, the eggs were amazing and I fell in love with Harley, a little rescue on site. Loved it.

Tent Camp 7 @ Snow White Sanctuary

I honestly could not recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a perfect place to camp. We were welcomed when we arrived and told the ins and outs of the property. We tented at one of the sites along the pond and had a gorgeous view with a well shaded site. The animals were in the pen when we first got there but were roaming free during the day and were all so friendly. Definitely a perfect place if you're wanting some animal therapy. It was an easy 2 hour drive for us from Houston and just a quick drive to the cute town of Vinton. Ocean's family and the other campers were very welcoming and we were told when we arrived to treat the property as our own home. Definitely planning to come again!

Home away from home

My favorite site yet. Booked last minute and arrived late and was still accommodated. Kind and welcoming host, very friendly animals everywhere. INCREDIBLE property, lots of space. Bathroom is on their back patio and connected to the main house but closed off just for hip-campers. Felt like home. Recommending to anyone that will listen.

What an incredible place!

Booked one night and stayed for a week. It's Utopia for animal lovers. The hosts and animals make you feel welcome and at home. My 2 dogs and I had the best time and we'll be back for sure. Thanks for opening your enchanting land to us!

Great animals and hosts! EV Carcamp

Such a nice animal sanctuary with very kind hosts! This is a very active farm with animals coexisting everywhere so that means poop and dirt. If you don’t want to get dirty this is not for you. But if you love animals and good people it’s highly recommended. Bathroom is functional. We car camped in our Tesla and used the 50amp charger after calling ahead to confirm it’s available and okay.
