This cozy fenced-in spot provides a place to plug in your RV and stay in the Big Easy in a safe, tucked away side yard just minutes from the Bywater, Marigny and French Quarter and a few blocks from the Mississippi River. You can drive, bike, or Uber to hundreds of bars and restaurants in less than 15 minutes. Enjoy your morning coffee on the brick patio and feel free to use the fire pit (fall/winter only) and hammock! Please don't mind Poka, my old and gentle English Shepherd, who may wander around. The description says an acre because it is impossible to put in a smaller number, but the actual parking space is about 25 x 50 ft, with additional hangout space nearby. I am right next door (on the other side of the fence) if you need anything and can help navigate entering and setting up and give you a key to lock the gate with.Enjoy the Holy Cross/Lower 9th neighborhood in the comfort of a secure fenced in yard just minutes from the Bywater, Marigny and French Quarter neighborhoods and a few blocks from the Mississippi River. This is a partially shady grass yard with a wooden privacy fence, fire pit, hammock and stone patio with table (pool in pic is down for the winter!). I am right next door if you have questions about the area or need help setting up and plugging in and you may see my old English Shepherd Poka poking around the yard or sunbathing.

Neighborhood in NOLA!

Kat's spot was awesome! It's living in a New Orleans neighborhood! So cool to be part of the culture! Kat sets up the spot really nice and is very kind and helpful. I'll definitely return next time I'm there!

Retreat within the city

24 ft campervan

Kat is a friendly, helpful and generous host. The yard is a perfect retreat. 2 minutes from the bus and bike-able to the French Quarter and many venues and restaurants. Would stay again. Feel like we made a new friend🙌🏼

19 ft travel trailer

Great spot! 45 minute walk to get to the Quarter and 3 minute walk to a nearby bus stop. I have a 19-foot travel trailer that fit the spot just fine. Fenced in yard with a locked gate was also a great safety feature for my rig. Kat was super accommodating, as well. Thank you again for everything!

The perfect spot to enjoy what NOLh

10 ft pop-up camper

Such a great little oasis in the bustle of the city. Gracious host! The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make it the perfect stay! I am ever so grateful for the chance to enjoy the city from the perfect launching spot.

Wonderful spot

21 ft fifth wheel · With pets

Lovely yard next to Kats home with beautiful plantings and lovely host. Our 21 foot camper and truck fit perfectly although a trailer larger might feel crowded. Loved the proximity to good restaurants, Bourbon and Frenchman’s Streets. Highly recommend. Also, our dog loved the freedom a fenced in place gave her.
