Tranquility and magnificent landscape, this is our camping at the gates of the beautiful and historic city of Amarante.
We would like it to be a great starting point for getting to know our beautiful region. Here are some suggestions for planning your trip.
We are located 10 minutes from the main node of national motorways that can take you to Porto, Guimarães, Braga, Vila Real, Lamego, Bragança, Chaves and many other cities of great historical and tourist interest. You may use direct public transport for some of them.
Amarante is our city. Small, with a rich historical center, crossed by the river Tâmega, cradle of the conventual sweets and center of a unique wine region, the Vinho Verde region.
And because we talk about wine, of course you can not miss the region of the Douro Valley, a landscape treasure that is the origin of the Port.
If you are nature lovers I have two suggestions of national parks: Gerês and Alvão. And, of course, the mountainous set that will be here in front, in the landscape of the terrace: the Marão.
But we will have an opportunity to talk about all this.
