Turtleback Ridge is a collectively owned farmstead perched on one of the fine ridges of Robertson County Kentucky. With 100+ acres of woods, plus fields and gardens to explore there is plenty of intrigue for those interested in a relaxing retreat into nature. Home of Turtleback Ridge brewery that brews a wide variety of ales and ciders emphasizing the local terroir through the use of local fruits and foraged ingredients.Join us on the Turtleback Ridge Farmstead, a 200 acre collectively-owned farm boasting 100+ acres of woodlands, an ephemeral creek, holistically managed orchards and gardens, and Turtleback Ridge Brewery. The brewery is home to a quaint and cozy taproom with ample outdoor seating perfect for a quiet pint or a picnic in the woods. From March to December the farm/brewery hosts regular events including live music, star gazing, open mic nights, trivia and more. We strive to have regular food trucks hosted by local chefs on Saturdays. Pitch your tent surrounded by the woods and just a 2 minute walk from our on-farm brewery. Seating and a firepit located near the brewery. Just steps from your campsite there will be hiking/mountain bike trails allowing you to access the woodlands and creek. Plenty of flat areas for tents and campers but spots will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. Within just a couple miles of the farm you'll find Blue Licks State Park with hiking trails along the Middle Fork of the Licking River and even closer, you'll find historic Johnson Creek Covered Bridge. We look forward to welcoming you to the fine ridges of Robertson Co. Kentucky.

Solitude & Suds
I loved this camping trip! I started at the brewery, which is a repurposed farm building with a nice patio and outdoor area with games and a big fire pit. They had live entertainment and the Warbler IPA was delicious. I chose to camp far away from the brewery because I wanted complete solitude on this trip. Next time (which will be in the next month or two) I will camp closer to the brewery and arrive on a Friday, so that I can enjoy the brewery more. The hosts were very nice. It was easy to find.

We loved tent camping at Turtleback Ridge! There was ample space to choose from to set up our tents, and was easy to find a nice flat spot to set up the four tents for our group. It was also awesome to be within a super short walk to the brewery, where we enjoyed the beers, food, and music entertainment for the weekend. Already dreaming about our next trip back!

Although we didn't get to meet Keegan, we got to speak with Jen. She totally made us feel welcomed and pointed on many locations we could camp. The extra kindness we felt from Jen really went a long way and made us feel safe and welcomed. We would recommend this site to anybody looking to crash after a long day.

Great spot to hang out and camp for the night. Friendly hosts and a craft brewery on site with some amazing beers and a delicious non alcoholic soda.

We had a great stay! Keegan and his family were wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful and the brewery is a great bonus. If our travels bring us back to this area, we will definitely visit again.
