The Kilns Music Venue will be Hosting their annual HalloWayne Music Show on Oct. 19, 2024 - Camping is FREE on this day with Paid Admission to the show! Follow The Kilns on Facebook for a list of musicians, bands and activities as well as how to purchase tickets. Located 1 mile from the Red River Gorge in Pine Ridge KY between Mt. Parkway Exit 40 East and Exit 40 West and 8 miles to Natural Bridge State Park. The Kilns provides an area for rest and relaxation for those wanting to camp. while enjoying the outdoors. The KILNS got its name from large charcoal kilns that was a thriving family business in the late 50's early 60's. Although they are no longer in functioning, they are part of our history. The camping area is nestled on a small family farm with 5 acres designated for PRIMATIVE Tent or Van Camping. The property is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and a lush green field, freshly manicured. It is easy access to Red River Gorge, Local Restaurants, General Stores all while secluded from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Come relax and enjoy, we look forward to seeing you! RTT, with trailer of bikes
We stay here for 4 days, first day they wait for us to show up. And show us the place we has first choice of spots😍. They offer to help unload and help set up, but it was are first time wife and me done this. Every day they always come by just to check on us see if we needed anything, they also gave us an weekend events that was happening around town, we had two bike with us and they show us some places to ride, we did the eye of the dragon throw the Red river Gorge. This was very cool place to go. We didn’t have time to do everything so I’m planning come back down again next year.

You won't find a better campground! The most kind, down to Earth, attentive people work here. If you're looking for the perfect campground, this is the one!

Kilns
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Kimberly but Scott was very accommodating. First words were treat it like it's yours and we loved that. The property was beautiful wish we could've stayed longer. We look forward to spending more time there the next time we're in the area.

Amazing camping experience!
We loved camping at The Kilns. Kim and Scott were super kind and wonderful hosts. They provided firewood, trash bins and checked on us often. They offered us shelter when a big storm rolled through. We will definitely stay with them on our next visit.

We spent a great 3 days here and loved it. The host were very helpful and had some good talks with the brother in law . The property was beautiful and well kept and loved the old Charcoal Kilns on it. Can't say enough about the place and give it 5 stars. We'll be back so we can explore The Gorge more. They had firewood at the site and kindling so huge plus. Thanks again

The Kilns
A big Thank You to Kim and Scott for sharing their beautiful property with us this weekend! Even though it rained one of the nights we were there, we had a wonderful experience. Scott offered us shelter in a building on site if needed due to the rainstorm, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We enjoyed the pond and the nature sounds, including the frogs, that serenaded us to sleep both nights:) Plenty of firewood and privacy. We definitely will plan another trip to Red River Gorge and The Kiln in the future!
