Bridgett was very nice upon arrival. The site was very secluded and the perfect getaway. Would recommend and want to come back!

We came for my 70th Birthday Bridgett’s place is unbelievable it was the best Birthday so peaceful and private you could sit on the porch for hours just looking at the water. Anything you needed Bridgett was on it. We plan on coming back every year. I didn’t want to leave.

Be cautious
Bridgett was very nice. However, you should be cautious before you book. Make sure you ask about water to the cabin and the pump that is in the pond and pumps the pond water to the cabin.

The Harrican Lakehouse
The Harrican Lakehouse was a highlight of my family’s Summer! My kids learned to fish here and caught quite a few blue gill! My boyfriend, an experienced fisherman, had poles in the water pretty much all weekend and caught some beautiful bass and even a snapping turtle! He was able to kayak around the pond as well. All the kids swam, floated around on intertubes and caught salamanders on the shore. It’s the perfect little spot to just get away, unplug (service is spotty), relax, and spend some quality time with friends and family with nothing but nature surrounding you. There’s lots to love about this place. There are a few things I’d encourage and recommend guests to add to their packing list: towels (beach towels for swimming, hand towels or paper towels, and a a couple extra bath towels and washcloths), lots of drinking water and a bird book. I’d also recommend getting worms for fishing, and using buzzbait for catching bass (this was end of July) We’d love to see some catfish added to the pond! The overall stay and experience was fantastic, and we can’t wait to go back!!

The Harrican Lakehouse
Amazing.
I have to say that this is one of the nicest places I have stayed on Hipcamp for sure. There is nothing better than having a cuppa coffee and fishing first thing in the morning. The host was amazing and the small cottage on the pond is amazing. I can’t wait to go back again.
