Learn more about this land: We are a 33 acre farm in the middle of Horse Farm country, surrounded by horse farms. We have a home built in 1796 on the property we renovated and an old barn (in need of renovation! Let us know if you can do this). We have a pond and lots of wildlife - birds, deer, rabbits, etc). You can park in the field next to the barn and have a great view of the horses in the fields. We are also at the top of a hill with great sunsets.We are a 33 acre farm in the middle of Horse Farm country, surrounded by horse farms. We have a home built in 1796 on the property. We have a pond and lots of wildlife - birds, deer, rabbits, etc. We have different places you can camp. Come up drive and we can direct you or park at far end of our front yard next to fence. You can also park in the back field and have a great view of the horses in the fields. Come up drive next to blue house, through gate where our RV is and straight back to fence where there is metal Firepit and woodpile. You can also camp anywhere in that back field. We have electric hookup and place to dump if you need that for extra $25. We are at the top of a hill with great sunsets. Farm is Firegate 69 (not 69A), metal sign on fence says Old Mansion Farm. Google maps takes you to farm next door so look for our drive off Steele rd.

Gorgeous property! The neighbors horses were out grazing everyday and the sunsets were amazing! I normally don't prefer to camp where I can see the owners house but it was also very pretty and the owners were very nice! I would definitely stay here again!

Nice, quiet location. Perfect spot for my wife’s first night in the van after I finished the conversion. Great hosts!

Old Mansion Farm
Spent a night on Michele’s beautiful farm in our 26’ RV. Directions to farm are fine, just make sure you enter at gate 69, NOT 69a or 69b and look for the name of the farm on their fence at the entrance. Hosts are accommodating and super friendly and shared many interesting facts about their farm and the surrounding area. They supplied a fire ring and firewood and also have electric and a dump station available. It was a peaceful night in the middle of horse country and an easy drive to Frankfort the next day. Thank you Michele and Kurt for your hospitality!

The hosts were very accommodating. Kurt and Michele met us as we arrived at their beautiful farm in the middle of horse country. Good instructions and the camp site was perfect. Peaceful and secluded with beautiful views of the rolling hills and grazing horses. Nice flat area with firepit and plenty of wood. So quiet and relaxing. Extremely dog friendly site. We look forward to returning in the future.
