Learn more about this land: I live on 5.5 acres. It's peaceful and quiet and I love it here. I've stayed at other hip camps and simply decided that I would love to share my little slice of heaven with others passing through my area.  Notes: there is a wee bit of road noise, I live on a dead end road, there are 10 acres between my 5 acres and the Blue Grass Parkway.  I find it peaceful here and can easily ignore it but I'm mentioning it so your not surprised by it  ;)  The Neighbor dog (Roxy) is very friendly and might visit you while you are here :) You are welcome to hang a hammock in a small section of woods, by a small pond, or even on my covered porch. You are welcome to pitch a tent anywhere you like. You are welcome to park an RV or vehicle in the drive.  The drive is about 250ft long, you would need to back in in order to hook up to the 30 or 50 amp plug. RV's can use the 30 or 50 amp plug (30 amp will need an adapter. I have one you can use if you don't own one of your own) and hose for water. I have an outdoor shower and a camping toilet. I am ... - one hour from Lexington, Louisville, Elizabethtown, and Frankfort.- 1 mile from a mini mart with Gas, Ice, Pizza, Chicken Wings, Sandwiches, ect.- 6 miles from Dollar General and A pizza Restaurant - 15 ish miles from Wal-mart and other chain stores and restaurants I'm a great travel guide so feel free to tell me what your in town for or things you like to do. I will happily make you up a list of things to do and see and places to eat. Keenland, Churchill Downs, The Bourbon Tour (Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Heaven Hill, and many others) are within an hour of here. Also within an hour are 2 great bike paths, wonderful hiking and kayaking. As well as Great Shopping and Restaurants. Anything your heart desires.I live on 5.5 acres. Campers consistently appreciate Kristal's campground for its serene, rural Kentucky setting, offering sweeping views and a peaceful atmosphere. Despite some light highway noise, guests find the tranquility and natural beauty more than make up for it. Kristal herself is frequently mentioned as a standout host, known for her helpfulness and warm hospitality, often going out of her way to ensure guests have what they need. The well-maintained site includes thoughtful amenities like a 50 amp power hookup and an outdoor shower, enhancing the overall camping experience.

Beautiful quiet spot on the driveway. This was our first hip camp stay, which understandably caused Kristal some concern about us booking last minute, but we were able to convince her we would be respectful.

Nice big yard!
40 ft toy hauler
Nice place with lots of yard for you and your pets. Close to all the distilleries around the area. Access to water and power right at the site but with the power I believe she has it listed as 30 amp and I was prepared to use an adapter plug to go to 30 amp because my camper is 50 amp but I looked at the plug at the site and was pleased to see that it is a 50 amp plug so just be prepared if your camper runs on 30 amp and has a 30 amp cord you will need an adapter to go from your 30 amp cord to the 5 amp plug. Over all 5 outta 5 stars!

Country Camping at its Best!
35 ft fifth wheel
Kristal provided us with a quiet & pleasant place to park our RV for a couple of nights. It is a beautiful country setting. Her little homestead is centrally located offering a great opportunity to leisurely explore the surrounding area. She is a most thoughtful and considerate host and we hope to return in the future!

Worth the price of admission!!
16 ft travel trailer
Kristal was so kind and thoughtful, she made sure we were settled okay and when we didn’t have the proper electrical hookup, she had an adaptor - so helpful! Her land had beautiful views of the Kentucky countryside and sunset, on a lovely winding, rural dead end street. There was lots of room for our pup to run around and the historic town of Bardstown was only a short drive away.

Peaceful!
12 ft travel trailer · With kids
Such beautiful land! We enjoyed the amazing front porch and the peaceful atmosphere. Outdoor shower was so great! The stall for the shower could be taller/feel more secure, but clothespins we had with us helped with the flapping curtains. We could hear the highway some, but I didn’t find that disturbing at all. It was distant and faint from where we parked our camper on the driveway. I would stop again if I were in the area!
