Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
My place is secluded and peaceful. Its a wooded country setting and is a primitive site. There are no facilities or utilities, there is an outhouse/self composting (follow up your business with dropping leaves in after). It may not be suitable for children as there are active brush/wood burn piles on the land. See all photos and ask questions, please. I want it to be enjoyable for all who book. It’s also noteworthy that there are dogs in the area that roam free, it’s way out in the country, there are no leash laws. I’ve never had any issues with unfriendly dogs, but always be aware. It’s at a dead end road, no thru traffic. You can stay and enjoy some amazing stargazing, (there is minimal lighting and a very dark, clear view of the night sky) and lots of peace and quiet or explore the Daniel Boone National Forest surrounding the property or travel a short distance and see so many nearby amazing areas…Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, NADA Tunnel, Sky Bridge, Cave Run Lake, Twin Knobs and Zilpo Recreation Areas, Carter Caves State Park, Grayson Lake, Rudy’s Ranch. Learn more about this land:Secluded and private, very primitive camp site. An amazing dark, night sky, perfect for STARGAZING! This is a secluded, peaceful location on private property surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest. Very quiet and private. There’s is a composting outhouse, no utilities. It may not be suitable for children. It is way out in the country and there are dogs that may visit and we have active brush piles for regular bonfires. It is within 30 minutes or less to Red River Gorge, Cave Run Lake, Sheltowee Trail, Rudy’s Ranch stables, Zilpo and Twin Knobs recreation areas, White Sulphur ATV trail, Stoney Cove Mountain Bike trail, Broke Leg Falls. Also within an hour of Carter Caves State Park, Grayson Lake and Fort Boonesboro.

Cindy’s camping site is quite isolated with absolutely no cellphone service. I wanted to go completely off the grid so it was perfect for me. I didn’t even use the Wi-Fi available. The site itself is well maintained and very quiet. Occasionally you could hear a dog or two barking in the distance. There are a couple houses you can see about 200-300 yards away. It still felt very private otherwise. The outhouse in my opinion isn’t really usable. Just bring a camping toilet instead. Lots of dead branches around to get a fire started. I did bring my own wood with me. I really like the earlier check in time which is a big plus for me. Overall I was really happy with this site and would recommend it to anyone needing to get off the grid for a bit! Directions to the site were perfect, just download the map/directions prior to leaving.

Peace and Quiet Camping 🏕️
Cindy has a great spot away from the loud busy cities. Nice country drive down quaint little country roads. Our dually squeezed through those tight curves and we were glad we left the trailer at home because we would have missed out on this golden opportunity. During a sporadic rain storm, Cindy came to check in on us, and even though it rained, we enjoyed our time. This was REAL camping, no cell service, no loud neighbors, just peace and quiet, listening to the birds and watching the bunnies play in the field.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly and then allowed me privacy. The site was mostly private (could see a couple houses 100 yards away) and mostly level and well mowed. The site is a simple quiet relatively safe feeling but be ready to rough it as there are snakes around and the outhouse is SOS only!

What a great place to pitch a tent and hang out. Off the beaten path but close to many outdoor activities. Wonderful host and property. Would love to go back when I can stay longer.

Sarah is a kind soul. She tried her best to accommodate all my needs. The listing is exactly as described. If you are self-sufficient and want a good spike camp to explore the local National Forests... this is your spot.

Nice stay
I’ve stayed on Cindy’s land several times, and it has always been nice and quiet. Accommodations are extremely basic.
