Our sites are along a driveway leading to the barnyard. One additional site is behind the onsite farm store. Each location has a view of either sunrise or sunset, some feature both as we are on top of one of the many gentle rolling hills. In the summers you'll see fireflies at night and light pollution will not spoil your view of the stars. We are at the end of the original Chisholm Trail and Old Town Abilene is one of the many attractions in Nearby Abilene. We are also just a few miles from the Greyhound Hall of Fame and the Eisenhower Presidential Museum and Boyhood Home. We are happy to point out area trails and attractions to our visitors. On the farm we raise Pygora and Cashmere goats, Babydoll Southdown Sheep, cows, donkeys, chickens, guineas, rabbits and who knows what else will join the farm by the time you visit. We make Yarn and natural fibers for spinners and depending on the season, visitors may watch or assist with shearing. We can also arrange lessons in beginning fiber arts like using a drop spindle, knitting, crochet etc. Campers are also welcome to visit the on-site farm store for local, grass-fed, beef, lamb, free-range eggs, soaps, leather goods and yarns and fiber art supplies and finished products. There are also some fun gifts to commemorate your stay in Kansas.
