We offer one private site on four acres, including a small pond, beach, treehouse, trails and peace and quiet. In addition to the tipi, there are kayaks, canoe, fire ring, wood supply, cooking equipment, dutch ovens, hammock, and tables and chairs. Campers will need to bring sleeping bags and food. Dogs are welcome. There is a rustic restroom (outhouse), with an outdoor shower. Water and electricity are available at the restroom and campsite. In addition, Navigation Play-Williamsburg, provides outdoor play opportunities at the farm on a seasonal basis. If interested, find her on her facebook page or find her link on my website www.walkingstickadventurescom.com Our dream was to restore an old farmstead to prairie and woods, grow our own food, make some wine and create a wonderland for grandchildren. The tipi and pond campsite is our way of sharing our place. We love meeting new people, especially those that are looking for a new camping experience.A great meeting place for families, just 3 miles from Interstate 80 and within 30 minutes of the Amana Colonies, Williamsburg Square. and Fireside Winery. Campers can drive to the site through our farmstead. We will be there to meet you and show you around. Parking is available at the site. Canoes, kayaks, cooking equipment etc will be set up at the campsite. There is a rustic restroom (outhouse) in the timber, just south of the tipi. It includes an outdoor sink and shower. Water and electricity are available at the restroom and campsite.

Amazing Campsite with Cute Kittens
My friends and I had a great time here! It was so peaceful and quiet and very secluded. And the Homemade Wine made by Ken was delicious and a wonderful surprise! We loved meeting the farm cats who hung out with us all night and morning :-] we ended the night with a fire in the teepee which was so nice. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Maria’s space was beautiful and had great amenities that all ages could enjoy - from kayaking to hiking to playing in the treehouse or toasting marshmallows. It’s a very well-equipped, private space our family enjoyed.

Perfect getaway
This is the second time we stayed and we love the peaceful private camp site. Maria provides everthing from cooking utensils to fire wood and charcoal. The only things we needed to bring were bedding( she can provide blow up air mattresses for a small fee, we brought our own) and food and drink. The rustic setting and outdoor restroom and shower made you experience one on one with nature, without needing to pack and set up a ton of equipment. We couldn't fish because a large storm blew through and upset the delicate balance in the lake, but there are definitely fish in there, some of them quite large! We can't wait to go back next year and take the grandkids!
