Loved it!
We loved our stay at the hideaway camper located right next to a beautiful waterfall and cave. The camper was comfy and they had everything you need. Jon and Rose were gracious and responsive hosts! Thanks!

Great hideaway!
With kids
We had a great time at the site. Kids played in the water. Everything was set up nicely. It was a rainier weekend so the canopy and deck was welcome relief. We will definitely be back again.

Glamping in the Driftless Area
Group trip
Glamping in a valley with your very own waterfall and babbling stream. We were lucky with all the rain we had the week before coming out. Also was the coldest weekend in April, nighttime temps below 30. The heater worked great! The RV is very clean. Everything worked and very clear instructions on how to use things such as the toilet. Dishes, utensils, and cooking supplies, plus a propane grill and a grill top for the campfire. The only thing we didn't use to cook was the oven! Lots of condiments in the fridge, tea & coffee in cupboard. The French press coffee was delightful for the cold mornings. The only thing I'd like to have are campfire tools, like a poker and a small shovel (for putting out fire). The bunk beds were perfect for the teenagers. The master bed, I believe a queen, had a lovely duvet and comfy pillows. It also had two lights above you for reading & relaxing in bed. Two small bedside shelves and two closets on each side of the master. Plenty of outlets throughout and although no cell data, the wifi worked perfectly throughout the grounds. But who needs phones when you have such beauty around you? We had a mom (me), two young adults, a 13 year old and 2 dogs. Never felt like we were cramped. And the table was perfect for the four of us for eating and playing games. Forgot to say Jon met us after we arrived and welcomed us. Asked if we had any questions & told us he was on site if we needed anything. Will be back again! Des Moines, IA

Everything was great! The AC was turned on a couple hours before we arrived with our dogs in upper 90 degree weather. Uncle Jim came out at 11:45 to change propane tanks when an alarm went off. Very hospitable!

Nice site, nice camper
With kids
Driving in, Google maps wants you to turn down 320th but it's just past, and luckily there is a sign that lets you know you've found the destination. Driving into the woods to find the camp site set up, a nice campfire area with a fire pit, a deck with a table and 2 chaise lounges, a grill, and a stack of firewood ready to go with the camper. Camper is very nice and was clean and made up ready to go. Great instructions on using things like the toilet. Main bed was a bit more firm than we would prefer, as it was a rough night of sleep. Had an issue with having no hot water, the host did not respond timely so I took it to figure out how to switch propane tanks and purge the line to ignite the water heater. Not ideal but I am capable, I'm not sure what others may do that aren't handy. Host was apologetic and said they were going to have the dealer check the reason the electric heater wasn't turning on. The campsite has what is likely a beautiful falls when it is running... It was not and looks to have been not for a while due to the droughts. We did climb up and check out the cave, which was neat! We had a great time in Decorah, lots to do - get to the ice cave and springs park early, before the crowds. Great downtown area not far away from the campsite either.
