Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We have 87 acres with trails, small catch and release pond, playground area, cabins rentals and 7 RV spots. We are within 45 minutes of Holiday World, Paoli Peaks, French Lick, 9 wineries, Marengo Caves, Wilstem Safari Park, Jasper River walk, shopping, go-karts, indoor water park, casino, etc
The electric boxes have only 30 amp receptacles so be sure you have an adapter.
There's a nice little creek behind the campsites so it's nice to hear at night and children would love to play in it during the summer. Wasn't deep at the time of year we were there(early April).
No bathroom facilities at all, but your own portable facilities with a shower tent works perfectly. There's a dumpster just down at the edge of the campsites. There is a water spigot down at the other end but it did taste a bit "off" but we were there in early spring and it may be because it hadnt been used all winter. I did use it for everything but drinking. Heather was sweet and accommodating
I was really excited when I found Heathers place available for the 2024 eclipse...I was able to snag a spot for myself and my dogs. All the spots over look a creek and it's very close to Hoosier national forest and lake patoka ... I live in NE TN and found this area of Indiana to be beautiful. I camped in my van as this was a last minute trip for totality and I was lucky enough to see it from Heathers property. I met her just as I was leaving and she was very nice. I definitely recommend the spot.
Had a great experience roof top tent camping! Clean, organized, and easy to find. There were a few other campers at the site; all were friendly and very respectful of noise. The stream behind the campsite was peaceful
Fun little campground next to a creek. Clean and easy to find.
