Cozy ramshackle farmstead in the Hoosier Hills offer a chance to get up close and personal with the land, through camping, and hiking through the woods. Not only is Hoosier National Forest located both to the north and south for hiking and trail riding, but just 3 miles away is the Rise of Lost River at Orangeville, a natural landmark. Spring Mill State park is located about 20 minutes away in Mitchell, IN, while Patoka Lake is about 15 minutes south of nearby French Lick. For those interested in farmers' markets, Orange County Homegrown markets run Saturday at Orleans(10 miles away) from 8am-noon, and in French Lick 7 miles) from 4-8pm.

We loved the quiet, peaceful sleeping spot. The friendly farm animals were a significant plus making us giggle. We woul do this spot again.

Wonderful place for a quick night
The host was I credibly kind and made us feel welcome even when my partner and I were just staying the night (arriving after 9pm and leaving early in the morning.) the rooster woke us up pretty early but ended up working out for the better. Highly recommend

Great location near French Lick, yet still remote with nature abound. Farm animals were SUPER cool! Host even supplied firewood. Just not ideal for tents as rhe entire area was sloped.

If you love farm animals, this is your spot! The hosts are very kind and helpful, the roosters are quite friendly, and Cornucopia the pig is a real treat. Plus some goats and cows and a nice wooded clearing to camp in. Recommend!

Quiet farm vibe
We booked last minute and pulled into the property. We were easily able to situate the rv on some blocks and relax! The spot is medium sized and has a pretty large grass area for our puppy to play on! Natasha is wonderful and so kind! She offers fresh eggs from her chickens and we happily bought some! They have a small farm with some of the nicest and cutest pigs (and baby pigs) and goats weve ever met! We were able to fill up on water and throw some trash out! For $7 this place is a steal! But i honestly think it should be more with what natasha offers! The night was quiet and we saw hundreds of light bugs flying around before we went to bed!
