Wooded Lake RV site
Unique creekside campground
Aaron was friendly & accommodating. He showed us around the property and allowed us to choose a different site, which we preferred after we saw the property and wanted a more private setting. Picnic tables were not available, which we missed, but we brought our own folding table. Aaron says he's planning on getting picnic tables there. There is a historic cabin on the property, which gave a pleasant unique character as well. We were happy to be permitted to give our scraps to the chickens.

Wooded Lake RV site
Nice stay!
Great stay, we were the only ones there so we were able to keep our 3 Cattle dogs off leash and they loved it! Site was nice but no flushing toilet so beware. Although the porta potty was not too stinky it was definitely full and needed cleaned out so tried not to use it at all. We fed the many chickens there and went for a delightful swim. Aaron is a super nice, chill guy who is making many improvements on the land. Would definitely recommend !

Camping experience was great at this location. Everything was properly maintained, and Aaron was wonderful. He assisted in everything we needed it even Getting spray and beats that we ran out of. We had an awesome time and the fishing experience was great as well thanks again, Aaron.

Wooded Lake RV site
Quiet lakeside camping & fishing
Enjoyed our weekend camping in our trailer next to Little Turkey Lake. Aaron is a very friendly and accommodating host and made us feel very comfortable in our first HipCamp experience. We enjoyed catching several large bass, kayaking around the quiet lake and enjoying the serene environment by ourselves.
We had a water issue with our RV and Aaron didn’t hesitate sliding under it to check it out. Above and beyond.

Little Turkey Woods
No regrets!
We took a chance on this place feeling like we needed a bit more information and the commitment to pay without being able to ask questions was a risk. But we are sooo glad we went for it. The host was seriously amazing and it was quiet and beautiful in the different sites on the property. We had 4 adults, 2 children and a pup and found a cozy spot among the trees that accommodated us perfectly.
It’s a work in progress place but one of our favorites found on Hipcamp so far. We caught fish and went kayaking and enjoyed cooking over the fire. Aaron (the host) let us forage and we were able to make small pies out of the ripe elderberries around us. I would definitely go back and loved sitting in the different benches and swings to take in the beauty of nature and the lake, especially in the mornings.
It was just what we needed.

Awesome!
Had a great trip to this site. Aaron was accommodating and introduced himself upon arrival. Was not too hard to find, and was very secluded. Camped next to a creek arm, off the lake, and caught a total of 9 large mouth bass, and all were 2 to 3 lbs. My 9 year old son, and nephew also enjoyed it! Will definitely return!
