Leanin Post Farm 2
Farm camping at its finest
My husband and I loved our stay at Donna’s farm! Close to IU to visit our son, great hiking nearby, beautiful sunsets, farm life, deer sightings.
We enjoyed learning more about all their birds. Donna was even nice enough to gift us a couple duck eggs for breakfast, yum!
If you’re looking for a chill place to stay and like a farm setting, this is your place!
If I had to put something negative, the rooster woke us up at about 5am both mornings but we learned how to ignore it pretty quickly. For reference, we were in a popup with no sound barrier lol.

Leanin Post Farm 2
Had a great time camping on Donna’s property. It was the absolute perfect spot to view the 2024 solar eclipse! Keep in mind it is a working farm with lots of different farm animals and all the that goes along with it. Donna gave us fresh duck and chicken eggs in the morning which were delicious! Miller’s spring and Hunter’s honey farm just a short drive away, a must while you’re in town. Donna and her daughter were so welcoming. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

Leanin' Post Farm
Dualing Roosters
It was a nice spot and the host was very gracious. The farm animals were endearing. Since it is a farm, it is not necessarily quiet but we enjoyed this part of its charm!

Nice camping with farm animals
We really enjoyed camping at Leanin Post Farm. We really enjoyed meeting all the farm animals. It is peaceful at night with nice stargazing opportunities. The outhouse port-a-let was very clean. Donna the host is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Donna let us know she was nearby and available if we needed anything. We had plenty of privacy. It is a working farm so there are roosters and other animals that you can hear and encounter. That was fine for us, but it may not be everyone’s preference. We would love to stay again.
