This dispersed camping site for up to 2 groups features; camp furniture, a composting toilet for your comfort, and many fire pits for you to set up near. You may set up anywhere within the campground (except for in common areas near the toilet) but the favorite spots are as follows: 1. “Under the Pines” with firepit 1 2. “Under the Pines” with firepit 2 3. “Central Stand of Pines” with firepit in lawn 4. “Nook along edge of lawn” The campground is a large flat area atop a wooded sandstone bluff that towers over Big Pine Creek. The view from camp down to the creek is obscured in the summer. The creek is accessible by a marked, short, downhill pathway; if you intend to bring a canoe/ kayak, ask ahead of time about access for boats. The campsite is about a 3 minute walk from the main house for assistance when needed, but still offers privacy from our home. Being a working farm, you may hear a tractor rolling by during reasonable hours, people may briskly walk through, and we may need to access a storage shed on the campground during your stay. This property is regulated under Indiana Agrotourism laws. You participate in any activity at your own risk.

Under the Pines - Dispersed Camping
Abby’s Land
Had a great camping experience at Abby’s land! Property was quiet, serene and had everything promised in the description. The host was polite, helpful and very knowledgeable about farming. If you’re looking to camp without the noise and loud partying that’s becoming increasingly common at big campgrounds, then this is the place for you!

Under the Pines - Dispersed Camping
This was a great experience camping on Abby’s property. The sites are secluded with great views and plenty to do in the area. I’m sure that it can get busy if there are multiple grounds staying in the area, but we were lucky and had the whole place to ourselves! Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get outside and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back!

Under the Pines - Dispersed Camping
I had a great time doing my first solo camping trip on this property. The restroom set up was super nice to have, clean & well-kept. Water and firewood were both provided onsite, along with a little cabinet of odds and ends you might forget, like a lighter or cardboard for fire starter. It made my stay SO convenient. Having chairs and a couple cute fire pit spots to pick from was really nice. The neighbors down the way were hooting & hollering their fair share until about 11pm, but it wasnt bad. I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe alone in this space. I had breakfast with Otis, the big, beautiful gentle giant of a dog that roams around the area. He was SUPER polite and sweet and very happy to share my breakfast but only ever took what was offered to him. Then he laid down by my fire while I packed up and he walked trails with me for about half an hour after. This camp is next to the entrance to a lovely set of trails..take a picture of the map, it was very helpful. This will definitely be a place I book again when I want to camp somewhere not too far from home.

Camping with Oddy
Great campsite. Went with a couple friends and really enjoyed the place. The walk by the creek is peaceful and relaxing. And the friendly dog that roams the campsite named Oddy is the goodest boy you’ll ever meet. 10/10. Thank you Abby for the wonderful experience.

Great for stargazing
Very nice place, great for stargazing bortle 3 sky(light pollution level) which is about as good as your get in Indiana. We brought a small telescope and it was amazing you could even see the Milky Way with naked eyes. I'm the open area by camp and your car's they also have a open prairie for more open skies we didn't go there because we would have to carry gear out to it in foot but the open area was pretty big. Nice camp site under pine trees, 2 sites rent both of you want place to yourself, River you can swim free firewood and water plus a composting toilet. Over all excellent
