Hi Hipcampers! This site offers full water, sewer, and electric hookups. Want to see a working farm? Want to wake up to animals grazing? Come stay at Ambers Acres! The pasture your ssite is nestled in, has goats and possibly cows at all times! That doesn’t mean you won’t see rabbits and squirrels running around also! Keep an eye out for the occasional turkey and deer also! We are just a few miles from the Old Mill Canoe Rental on the Blue River, Buffalo Trace Park, and Cave Country Canoe rentals.FULL HOOKUPS $35/night!!!! Your site is nestled amongst trees in a private two camper site. You are a walk across the field to the house in case of emergencies. You may see the owner going about her chores, feeding and caring for the animals. You will receive ample notice if anyone will be near the site in the daily routine of running the farm. Your site is completely fenced in. Goats will PROBABLY come check you out and beg for petting! If you are not an animal lover this may not be an ideal site for you. There are also a lot of animal noises all around at any time. Each day you could possibly see goats playing, baby animals being born or baby animals being made! It is a working farm. The property is absolutely beautiful, even though it's right off main road you may hear vehicles passing by occasionally, but it doesn't take from the tranquility. Never had any issues with communicating, Amber always responded quickly, respectful, kind, answered any an all questions and when I wasn't getting any power to my camper she promptly checked everything within her means, before contacting the power company, them promptly arriving (earlier than the quoted time an quicker I had expected.) She was very understanding when it turned out to be the adapter I had purchased and even allowed for her own adapter to be used during the stay. An the goats were adorable and vocal in a good way.

Camping with Goat Neighbors

Loved our weekend at Amber's. We found it pretty easy and she had everything we needed. Close to some fun things to do within 30 mins. A canoe place right down the road, marked that for next time. Quiet and pretty. My husband enjoyed the goats :)

Very well kept property and the baby goats were adorable. Enjoyed having fresh eggs available and full hook up was great. We spent one day at the O’Bannon Woods State Park - https://www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/obannon-woods-state-park/ - which was about an hour from the site.

We love Amber and her Farm!! A peaceful and relaxing place just outside of all there is to do in Louisville. Amber was accommodating, and when our truck was acting up, she was reassuring, even though she was booked for the weekend. 5 stars is not enough. Thank You Amber! We will be back!!
