300 feet behind our house is a fire pit, then 15 acres of wood. around an acre lake. We have a boat and you can swim. There's an out house (and use of the woods is ok too) .There is plenty of wood and plenty of forest fun. No motorized Vehicles allowed. No weapons. No hunting. We want to share our land with other lovers of the woods, plants and animals. Like good "scouts", we expect our campers to leave the site the way they find it, tidy . We have recycle and trash containers. There is a drinking water source at the house. Responsible use of alcohol is accepted but drugs or anything that impairs physical safety, is prohibited.200 feet behind our house is a fire ring, then 15 acres of wood. There's an out house too. There is plenty of wood and plenty of forest type work too. The forester has great ideas for tasks to maintain. You are welcome to have fun here doing nothing or something.

Perfect Campsite and Wonderful Host

Camping on Missie and Daniel’s land was great! The campsite was easy to find, clean, and well kept. We had a great time camping out for the eclipse and Daniel and his family were very welcoming. I brought my two pet dogs and they had a great time playing with Daniel’s family pets and relaxing on the land. Will definitely be back next time I camp in Indiana.

Site 1 - in woods camp site

I came here to watch the solar eclipse and it was perfect for me. The area is beautiful and Missie and Daniel were really welcoming and showed me around the area. Lots of cool critters in the forest and water. The main selling point for me was that they allowed my dog to be off leash; she had a great time running around too. Mount Vernon is a pretty cool little town about 10 minutes away.

Missie was so nice! She brought us toilet paper since we didn’t pack any. The fire pit was nice! She came out to wish us a goodbye in the morning.
