Offering a great little spot to overnight as a rest area between Chicago and Milwaukee only 2 miles off of 294. Nothing special but a low cost option to park and relax. Do have a donkey and peacocks that can make noise and do have morning traffic, but the area is indeed rural and the property is relaxing. Site is close to house but our property is your property during your stay.Great overnight spot to park between Chicago and Milwaukee. The Only space for small trailers, vans or tents . A few spots to choose from on property from close to house with access to campfire (wood provided at no cost) and outhouse. Priced to be an economical and safe place to stay while you are passing through our beautiful area. Close to busy road however therefore noisy during rush hour. Pets welcome.

Super cool farm
18 ft campervan
We camped in a tent near the pond and outhouse. Despite arriving very late, Lisa went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We saw several frogs and heard owls and other nighttime creatures. We felt very welcomed. In the morning, Lisa introduced us to her many wonderful animals and even let us feed the donkey! We’ll definitely stop here again if we’re in the area.

Lovely place!
14 ft campervan
Absolutely delightful stay that vastly exceeded my expectations. Lisa was an incredibly sweet and accommodating host. It's abundantly clear that she truly cares for all of the animals on the property, as she was kind enough to introduce me to everyone. Good location, good amenities, a perfect stop between Chicago and Milwaukee.

Adorable Farmette
20 ft campervan
We loved camping at Lisa and John's. They have a beautiful property filled with many trees, flowers and bushes. Great landscape. They have some adorable farm animals. Friendly donkeys, a darling pig, an amazing tortoise, and gorgeous peacocks! They have a nice area to walk around and pet the animals. Our dog enjoyed every minute. It was a lovely stay with lovely surroundings.

Beautiful place and awesome host
5 ft car
Lisa was an awesome host! When we arrived, she was very welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. She made us visit her beautiful property and pet her cute little donkey. We felt safe and had a lot of privacy. She even started a campfire for us so that we would not be cold during the night! We recommend her place to everyone and would love to go back there one day! Thank you for everything Lisa! The Frenchies :)
