We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit educational farm. We teach gardening techniques, 4-H programs, Jr Master Naturalist programs, and how to be good stewards of the environment. We are taking row crops out of service and restoring the land to it's previous native condition. Tours are available at no cost by request.Located between the lovely towns of Millstadt, Columbia and Waterloo. Enjoy a peaceful night with access to a pond for kayaking. There is an outhouse near the camping area and many areas to sit and relax to enjoy the gardens. The pond is available for swimming or paddling around by request. We have fire pits to use for a BBQ or S'mores.

Relaxing place
My wife and I love this place! Especially for a quick overnight camping. Fire pit is ready with free firewood, pond for fishing, and the hosts are fantastic - Mark reminds me of my uncle in Iowa, funny guy and Kim is wonderful. They let us borrow their side by side atv to haul our stuff from parking to campsite. We'll be back very soon! Extra pros: there's a beautiful dog, two friendly goats, and a crazy cat.

Peaceful, family friendly camping
Phenomenal stay. Mark and Kim are great communicators and generous hosts. They made sure we had the details up front, greeted us and helped us get our things situated, and in the morning offered coffee and showed my two young sons around, letting them pick a few vegetables and learn about gardening. We'll definitely be back. It is incredibly peaceful back by the pond and soybean fields with a wide open sky. Highly recommend this stay.

Camping in a Garden
This was the perfect overnight spot for my car camping trip. Easy in and out, flat parking, and quiet. The gardens and ponds are beautiful.

Accommodating Hosts & Nice Grounds
Beautiful property, clean outhouse, and very accommodating hosts. Would stay with them again and made for a peaceful night passing through on a 2,000 mile roadtrip. Great communication and accommodation of a mix up in camping style I made when booking.

I chose to pitch my tent at the far north end of the big grassy field beyond the garden. Got a ride in their 4x4 so I could get my stuff to/from in one trip. The view is amazing in all directions! I saw the sun set over the pond and rise over the wheat fields. The privy is very nice. There is a dock with seating area at one of the ponds that’d be great for a group. Star gazing was spectacular!
