Woodstocks Creekside Camping
We stayed here 2 nights. It’s true when you arrive the host is not on site, I just went up and knocked on the door. There are cameras on the house so I’m sure the property owners see people arrive. After trying to make contact we went over where the Hipcamp sign was on the barn. While you are welcome to park your rig up by the barn closer to power, we opted to go down into the campsite. The entrance to the lower level can be challenging. It’s steep and there are some obstacles to maneuver around. We were able to get in and out no problem however. We set up in a shady spot close to the gate that leads to the creek. We made sure to bring a long extension cord so we could reach the power panel. There are clear instructions written on the power panel, no hassle. We appreciated the fact that we were all alone there, I figured host saw us on the cameras so wasn’t worried about check in or out. I know some folks didn’t appreciate this site but we absolutely loved it here. Very quiet, nice shade no dust and plenty of places for me to walk my 3 Shiba Inu’s. We also set up their small pen so the could be outside too. Not many places where you can have 3 dogs, they loved it! This property owner is in the process of improving this campsite, it’s very plain to see. We will camp here again in the future. Thank you to our camp hosts for such a big private area to camp.

We truly enjoyed this Hipcamp site. While most of what others have written seems to be mostly correct, we came prepared. We camped in our truck camper, stocked with fresh water and an extra long extension cord. When we arrived the site was well marked, we knew where to go, the power panel had directions inside the barn (clearly marked). The entrance to the site is tricky, it’s very steep. That said, we were able to get in and out with no trouble. This was a big campsite, very private with creek access. There was plenty of shade and I found places to walk my 3 Shiba Inu’s. It’s apparent the property owner is working on improving this property. We had e very good time and will most likely reserve again. Thank you so much Woodstock wishing well for the pleasant stay! We will be back!

There was no clear direction on where to camp the RV. The camp ground was not up kept and the power ended up shutting off in the middle of the night. It would of been really helpful to of received information on wifi, hook ups, trash...etc before going to the site since there is no service about 20 minutes before getting to the camp site.

Very misleading! You've been warned
1. Website requests a meet and greet, but they were no where to be found, even after 3 days. Still, 10 days later and no contact. 2. Because of a text I made the day before, we found out the power hook up was in the barn and there was no cel service. He did offer up the wifi password that worked in the barn. We could connect but there was no service on any of our phones. They never bothered telling us any of this, knowing we can't contact them once we arrive. 3. The 30 Amp outlet in the barn was installed upside down with an electrical box right above it. Getting the plug in was a chore, so good luck on that! 4. Most of the pictures they provide are of the owners property. Its NOT the camping area! The green lawn and shade trees are not for your use. Creek view and access is on the owners property, everything else is fenced off. 5. The pics of the hipcamp area on the right is 30 feet from highway. Constant roar of traffic except 10 pm to 4am. See all the green grass around table area. That was all 3 foot tall weeds as well as the area around the RV. Completely useless area. We had NO where to go. No place for kids and literally no where to walk our dogs. 6. There are tons of snakes, lizards, mice, gophers 0and mosquitos! Watch where you step, as I twisted my ankle in one of the many gopher holes under the weeds. 7. We realized this place must be an AirBnB as we got to watch people arrive to set up tents and have access to all the pretty places and access pictured. Rip off!

There really wasn’t anywhere to pitch a tent as the grass hadn’t been mowed and was over a foot tall. Horse manure had been dumped next to the site as well. We didn’t realize what we were walking thru at first. Otherwise, it was a peaceful location.
