The Cabin in the Meadow
A great place for a real cabin experience! We stayed warm all night (in the winter) with just the electric heater provided.

The Cabin in the Meadow
Doug & Shannon’s cabin is very charming. It’s far enough away from the main house to be private but close enough for anything you might need from Doug & Shannon. They were very generous supplying us plenty of wood and lots of blankets in light of the extreme cold temperatures that were forecasted, they even offered us their guest room. The wood stove thankfully does get the cabin nice and toasty once you get a fire going. All in all, it was a perfect stay for our weekend.

The Cabin in the Meadow
Quiet Cabin by the creek
Doug and Shannon’s spot was perfect for our family. Our 2 girls slept in the cabin and my wife and I camped on the lawn. We enjoyed cooking our dinners outside and enjoying the sound of the creek. It’s a very quiet spot that is about 15 minutes from Salmon. Conveniently located to all the area has to offer.

The Cabin in the Meadow
This was a very relaxing place to land in the evenings after exploring the Salmon area. We loved the sound of the creek, the singing of the birds, and the chairs around the fire pit.

The Cabin in the Meadow
Perfect retreat for a tough year
I was in need of respite from a really hard year. Doug & Shannon were amazing!!! The cabin was beyond RAD and they were so kind, understanding, and hospitable. I received a welcome basket complete with pastries. My firewood was split and delivered daily. I highly recommend this host and spot to everyone. If you are seeking solace in a beautiful spot with kind and generous hosts, this place is for you. R. Readmond
