Beautiful views of the Idaho sunsets from the hill overlooking Glenns Ferry. 34 acres of peace and quiet to enjoy local wildlife, stargazing, hike around, or just use as a base to explore the local area, go fishing, hunting, or visit the winery in town. Note: you can hear the interstate and the train as it is a small town and both are within a mile from campsite Learn more about this land: Campsite is a 4 acre pasture with a small grove of trees that holds a prepared firepit as well as a rope hammock and small sitting area. Lots of birds and wildlife are around (owls, hawks, hummingbirds, deer, endless quail and rabbits, the occasional coyote or fox) and with easy access to the town and I-84 for exploring.  Picnic table and horseshoe pit located at site. We are just a few minutes drive from town where there is a grocery store, several bars, Six Creeks Mercantile where you can grab a great cup of coffee, a golf course, Y-Knot winery, and fishing on the Snake River. This is a great location for exploration of the area, birding, fishing, or hunting up near Bennett Mountain. Only 20 min drive from Bruneau Sand Dunes. We are also very conveniently located off of I-84 for road-trippers passing through. As we are near the interstate there are some constant road noise sounds. LGBTQIA+ friendly, Pet friendly.  We are a tent and car camping only site as we do not have facilities for a trailer and we the pasture is on a slight slope so will not be able to find a level spot for a larger trailer. Small travel trailers will be allowed, but do note there are no power hookups. We have firewood available and will try to have a small supply at the firepit, but if you would like extra or want to guarantee some available please add it on. We look forward to sharing our beautiful view of the Snake River valley above Glenns Ferry with you! Clear skies and happy trails!Firepit, picnic table, horseshoes, hammock, some shade provided by the white poplar trees, multiple sitting areas, wildflowers, and a large pasture all to yourself

Easy Stopover for Road Trippers!
Tent
Fantastic stopover on a very long road trip! Easy access to the interstate. We were only there long enough to get a few hours of sleep and arrived late, but from what I saw, there are very thoughtful touches to the layout.

Great Spot
19 ft travel trailer
What a great little spot!! We were tired and exhausted from a long windy drive with our trailer. How lovely to be so close to the freeway with so much great privacy and such a great view. This will become one of frequent stops.

Stargazing and birds
Tent
This place is super cute! Loved all the little details. Loved all the birds. We got in really late (1am) host is amazing and didn’t mind at all! Super good at communication. Will stay again when passing through ID! The only negative was the road noise, but didn’t bother us and host supplies ear plugs for guest in the community area for Hipcamp! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hands down

I wanted to stay longer!
Tent · With pets
Anna is an excellent host! I couldn't recommend her and her place enough. I met up with some family there and we all loved it! The first night we set out under the stars with the Milky Way from horizon to horizon! It was spectacular. I very much enjoyed walking my dogs around the property and along the canal. My dogs were comfortable and so were we. I loved meeting Anna’s dogs as well. They stole my heart! Glenns Ferry is my kind of town. We also enjoyed seeing the Bruneau Dunes, Canyon, and observatory along with the Three Islands State Park. It’s all well worth seeing. In saying that I saw the other RV parks around and I was so glad I was at Anna’s! I hope to be back someday 👍👍

Perfect pitstop between WY and OR
Tent
The space was private, comfortable and safe. I didn't mind it being close to the highway because that made it easy to stop on my roadtrip. I loved the tent nook (surrounded by trees) and how there were separate areas for the fire pit and hammock.
