There are 2 camp sites currently available, we lost a few due to the flooding. There is a year round creek and several springs on the property. Adjoining the property there are thousands of acres of Forest Service land and just up the road is the proposed Scotchman Peaks Wilderness Area.
Beautiful Lake Pend Orielle is only eight miles away and the Clark Fork River Delta and can be accessed just down the road in Clark Fork. Bring your kayak, canoe, or longboard for unsurpassed natural beauty. If an alpine lake is your cup of tea, Antelope Lake is a short (fairly easy) 90 minute hike away, I'm told the fishing is great!
I'll definitley plan on coming back here! Campsite was in a seculded woodsy spot halfway up a hill (there is a short walk to get there from where you park). It's quiet and surrounded by trees. The property has a nice trail by the river and connects to another trail to antelope lake. Hosts were helpful and friendly and keep everything really well maintained.
We loved tent camping by the creek. It was absolutely relaxing and we appreciated that there was a nice fire pit and table with chairs. We also enjoyed the trails on the property and we recommend doing the Antelope lake hike near by. Such a peaceful and beautiful property! Thank you!
I absolutely loved staying at this site! It was incredibly well maintained and had so many amazing amenities. Beautiful area and super friendly host's! Thank you for the great experience!
This place is truly magical! The map doesn’t do it justice at all, as the sites are all on different elevations. We ended up in the creek side site as it was vacant and the host, Ivan, recommended it. It was secluded, quiet (other than the water), and the tree canopy was amazing. I will return with my family for sure!
The creek is a wonderful place to escape the heat and our son loved the challenge of crossing the rocks. The creek is aptly named Mosquito Creek along Mosquito Creek Road so bring your citronella and keep a fire burning. Directions to the camp were great. Sign along the road helped. Once in the camp, more signs/directions to our site would have been helpful but we eventually found it. Large vehicles not recommended as the drive to the sites feel more like ORV roads than for full sized trucks or SUVs. Altogether a wonderful time. Host was gracious, available if needed and left us to ourselves.
