Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
At OAEZIS, we offer more than just a stay—its an adventure. We invite you to learn and connect with the land, natural ecosystem, and Hawaiian culture. Nestled on Oahu’s most undeveloped side, this is a peaceful retreat where you can learn about sustainable living, respect for the land ('Āina), and experience Hawaii’s untouched beauty. Your experience is important to us, and we strive to create a memorable, immersive journey for each guest. Whether you are here to relax or engage with our cultural programs, we want you to feel at home while learning about the ecosystem and Hawaiian traditions. Sacred Valley is conveniently located just a couple minutes (1 km) from the highway and 8 minutes (6.5 km) from the Polynesian Cultural Center. There are world-class food trucks in the area, deserted beaches, and renowned North Shore surf spots. We offer amenities like picnic tables, communal flush toilets and hose showers to ensure your comfort, while still maintaining an off-grid experience. We encourage you to bring essentials like bug spray and a flashlight, and come prepared to walk, explore, and embrace nature. For those looking to learn, we offer 'Āina programs including cultural activities such as Fire Knife Dancing, Polynesian Drumming, and farm tours. Sacred Valley is a place where your presence matters. We invite you to participate in the stewardship of this special land and leave with a deeper understanding of Hawaii’s natural and cultural heritage.

Rasta Bus
Great spot for camping near North Shore. Very close to Hauula Beach Park and other great beaches. Lots of places to eat takeout/food truck and also markets for shopping. I liked the Rasta Van spot for it's privacy and also private outdoor shower. The shared bathroom and shower facilities are mostly outdoor but are clean and worked great. The bathroom is a short walk to get to from the campsites so plan ahead if you need to use the bathroom often. The Hideaway site is the closest to the bathroom/shower area. This is camping in Oahu. It is not a hotel or motel or flat rental. You will be outdoors and you will likely encounter some bugs and lizards. You will be awakened by the sunrise and you will hear the waves crashing on the beach at night. Solid spot to camp for a few nights if you are looking for an affordable spot to stay.

The Hideaway
Night Pee People bring a bucket!
Overall, this was a good stay. I was never able to open the Google Doc on my phone but it's quite possible this is my iPhone 15's fault, but it was confusing having signs up for different things they have going on the property. I'm not sure I figured out, for example, which toilets and showers were for my site. The site and land were lush and beautiful and I appreciated having a table while I sorted my messy van out. Mosquitoes seemed to think my blood was delicious, despite dousing myself in Off!, as I arrived and multiple times during the night. Unfortunately I get up at least once a nice to pee and either set of toilets I found a several minute walk away. I was glad I made an emergency pee bucket for my van because walking at night, especially if it's raining, is not fun.

This space was very quaint and felt so secluded. We just pulled in and felt like we had our own place in the wilderness.

The Rootz Wagon
Private Getaway in the valley
We had so much fun. The roots wagon was very secluded and private. We had a blast and even brought our dogs! Our host Mason was so kind and more than accommodating and even brought us some bananas fresh from the property. Bring bug spray, a fan, and a cooler and you’ll be fine. We can’t wait to be back. This will be a regular weekend spot to unplug and reset for my family. Many mahalos for having us 🤙🏼

Mountain View
Camping here was hands down the best decision as far as choosing a place to sleep in Oahu. The property is nestled at the bottom of the mountains, and is very peaceful. I loved sleeping to the sound of the breeze and waking up to the sounds of the birds. The bathrooms were a little bit of a walk, but I enjoyed getting in some steps in the morning and enjoying the nice scenery along the way. I would highly recommend camping here.
