We absolutely loved the sunset yurt. The yurt itself was lovely, comfortable, and well-furnished. The outside bathroom was perfect as well! The location was fabulous. We can't wait to come back.

Excellent location- just a short walk away from the beach! The yurt and outdoor bathroom were both clean and cozy. My only qualms about staying here would be the lack of information around pretty important details. For instance, there was no information about the lock code on the door of the yurt. Cassandra was pretty slow to respond, which isn't ideal in a host. I loved being able to use one of their bikes to get around but the bike lock code was also not shared with me. I had to ask some friendly locals to watch my bike while I ran into the store to get groceries because Cassandra didn't respond to my multiple messages/calls asking for the bike lock code until the next day. Communication is pretty much the only area of improvement with this stay. Otherwise, it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the North Shore.

First time using a yurt and this place have all the amenities. Although we were out and about on the North Shore it was a welcome sight to come back to a comfortable bed to come to and a hot shower. Although we did not took the full advantage this place has to offer it sure is a beautiful place to go. Definitely will book again. Thank u again Cassandra. Laurence

Good, but the bedding was smelly
Unfortunately, I had very mixed feelings. I really liked the yurt; it had everything necessary (kettle, sink, fridge, towels), a bathroom, and it was just 2 minutes from the beach. The yurt was very beautiful and unique. However, the experience was ruined because the bedding smelled very strongly, either of sweat (absolutely everything—pillows, blankets, sheets) or extreme dampness. This smell was noticeable even when just being in the room, let alone lying on it. Unfortunately, the host didn't respond to me the day before my arrival and only replied in the morning, allowing me to check in a bit earlier (I really appreciate this, but by then I had already changed my arrival plans due to the lack of response). I checked in at 8-9 pm, and when I asked about the bathroom and how the shower worked (there was no information in the app), I didn’t get a response for a long time. Eventually, I met Robin (not the host) near the bathroom, and she helped me. After showering, when I went to bed, I realized the smell was unbearable, and I had to lay towels down and spray perfume on my pajamas to get through the night. I couldn’t use the blanket because of the strong smell. I didn't write to the host at that time, thinking it was too late and that she was slow to respond, perhaps busy with children. If the host had provided more information for self-check-in and changed the bedding to clean sets, everything would have been perfect. Unfortunately, these issues spoiled the experience.

Lovely yurt and outdoor bathroom and shower! The trees and sounds of the wildlife is a nice change and soothing. The beach is a few minutes walk and I recommend a sunset bike ride. The yurt is on Cassandra’s property, as she mentions, and houses around so there isn’t a lot of privacy. However, it’s beautiful and you feel like a local. We’ll back for a longer stay in the future!
