This exquisite and secluded property is located at the base of the Koʻolau mountains in Waimānalo. Surrounded by breath-taking views that will captivate and invigorate your spirit, this private property offers an experience that is one of a kind. With over 10 acres to explore, this regenerative farm is home to many fruit trees, indigenous plants, wild chickens, and other beautiful birds that you will likely spot while taking a stroll on our nature path. We have worked really hard to care for this ʻāina (land), and we are happy to share it with respectful travelers looking for a quiet, authentic, farm-stay experience. Camp Koʻolau provides bathrooms, a warm-water outdoor shower with an amazing view, and parking. Our farm is only a 5-minute drive to the beach, and 15 minutes from popular, Kailua town. As a working farm, we do have insects and geckos hanging around. So, it's not uncommon to encounter them. Also, we often have visits from wild pigs that come down from the mountain, so you may see them as well. Although we are certain you will love this place, please keep in mind, it takes a lot of hard work to maintain it. Thus, you will probably hear farm equipment and activities buzzing about (typically on the weekends). And, we want you to respect, love, and care for this place as much as we do by leaving it better than you found it.

Farmstay Unit 2
This was a wonderful place to stay and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful view of the ocean and even better views of the mountains right behind you. The outdoor shower is something very special. The AC in the units worked wonderfully at night and kept us cool. The host were so welcoming and had great recommendations on what to do/see/eat. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

This place is a gem. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Scooter was an excellent host and the facilities are great. I wish I had stayed longer!

Such a calm and relaxing spot! Scooter and her mother were so generous and kind. The bathrooms were clean and the views were beautiful. Can't wait to return!

Farmstay Unit 2
Beautiful property and comfortable lodging! Scooter and her mom Malia are so sweet and welcoming. They make you feel right at home! Malia made a dish with fresh ulu (breadfruit) and it was yummy. They also shared fresh papaya, which was so sweet. The facilities were clean and organized. Staying here was peaceful and a nice retreat from the busy day-to-day. 10/10 would recommend! :)

Everything was perfect! Scooter and her mom welcomed us and were very nice to give us fruits. We really love the view and Unit 2, super clean! I wish we could’ve stayed longer, but will definitely come back again!

Magic for the Soul
Words cannot describe this breathtaking view and experience. Scooter and her mother are just the best. Warm and welcoming. This stay is just what the soul needs. There is an energy of pure love on this property. I would stay here again. Just the best 💕
